My parents' previous house was installed by a decoration company. At that time, the package price was favorable, but it was too tricky. Finally, I changed the water and electricity, all of which were my own money. And there are few choices of tiles and floors. So we decided to pretend by ourselves (really uneducated and gutless). This decision is too easy, but when it comes to fighting, I have no clue.
Go to the plan first.
For this apartment, the rooms are basically square and there is no waste. Our principle is that things are of good quality, and we can't live uncomfortable because we are greedy for cheap. So we leave out unnecessary parts, such as tearing down the wall. Our property management here collects garbage at 20 yuan per square meter, so try not to change the wall.
Another thing that is dispensable to me is the ceiling. We basically have no suspended ceiling except that I have to do it because of the beams that affect the appearance. So I didn't buy or install spotlights.
Frankly speaking, there are few people at home. That spotlight is really boring. It can't be opened twice a year, and it has a ceiling. Who has nothing to stare at the ceiling except a careful visit to the new house? As a family, please forgive my shortcomings.
But the money for the main materials and kitchen and bathroom must not be saved casually. Especially water and electricity, if you feel that it is not enough, you must leave more sockets. After all, it's too ugly to have all the patch panels in the house in the future.
To put it bluntly, the designers and contractors who decorate themselves form the construction team. So as far as decoration design is concerned, I am from an engineering background, and I probably used CAD to simulate the renderings of my favorite room, which is unprofessional, but barely usable!
So our plan is not to suspend the ceiling (some gypsum boards are used to fill beams), not to tear down the wall, and to change the water and electricity as needed. Wood floors, foyer, kitchen and bathroom should be waterproof, cabinets should be customized as much as possible, storage space should be increased, and wallpaper should be pasted. You got it? To put it bluntly, we just saved money on the ceiling.
As for why the porch must be done, it is related to the decoration of Feng Shui. I suggest that everyone should need a porch to stabilize the aura!
