The location of the Qing Tombs

The Prince's Mausoleum is backed by Zhuhua Mountain and faces Cuiping Lake. The hills on the east and west sides are round and equidistant, like green dragons and white tigers guarding the two sands. Huanghua Mountain directly behind faces Cuiping Lake in front. Surrounded by mountains and rivers, with a shield in front and a barrier in the back, the air is fresh. Located at the lower end of the North China alluvial plain, the terrain is gentle, sloping from the north, west and south to the direction where the Haihe River enters the sea in the southeast. The highest altitude is 13 meters and the lowest is 2.8 meters. The parent material of the soil is mostly alluvial deposits from the Yongding River and the Beiyun River. The soil is all fluvo-aquic, with deep soil layers and a variety of suitability characteristics.

Zhu Huashan has beautiful dragons, clear acupuncture points, interlocking water and mouth, and thorough Luocheng. Examining the regulation of Qi, the dragon rotates from the left to the head of the emperor, the water rotates from Xinyou to the right to return to Chen, and the standing Guishan Dingxiang and Ziwu are used to absorb the Qi, which is the best combination. I also dug out the soil to check the color, and found that it was more than one foot long. It was pure yellow and tender in color, and was hard and fine. It was indeed the best soil.

After careful review by the Feng Shui officer, it was concluded that the mountains in Zhuhua Mountain were neat and beautiful, and the building structure was really strict. After mutual discussion, it was decided to build the garden for Prince Duanhui in Zhuhua Mountain. He also drew a drawing and submitted it to Emperor Qianlong for his inspection. On May 2, the seventh year of Qianlong's reign (AD 1742), Emperor Qianlong approved the use of Zhuhua Mountain.
