Why did my car hear the sound of water after turning on the air conditioner?

Cause of failure

1, you can hear the sound of water when you turn on the air conditioner, but the steam water of the air conditioner will flow out of the car through the hose. Check whether the hose of the central air conditioner falls off. If it does not fall off, it should be the sound generated by the evaporation of refrigerant flowing in the compressor, which is a normal phenomenon.

2. You can hear the sound of water when you turn on the air conditioner in the car. This sound is made when water passes through a hot air tank. Check whether the engine coolant is insufficient. In this case, you can add antifreeze first, then step on the accelerator to make the engine rotate at high speed and exhaust air.

3. Observe whether there are obstacles outside the air conditioner. If so, clean it up.

4. Open the indoor casing and observe whether there is dust and odor on the filter screen of the internal machine. If there is too much dust or smell, clean the filter.

Precautions for cleaning

1. When cleaning the filter, cut off the power first, then open the panel and take out the filter.

2. Dust the filter screen with a brush vacuum cleaner, and then rinse it with clean water. When it is too dirty and greasy, it can be cleaned with detergent or neutral soapy water, rinsed with water, dried and then packaged.

3. It should be noted that it must not be cleaned with hot water above 40℃. Do not use washing powder, detergent, gasoline, banana oil, etc. Clean to avoid deformation of the filter screen.

4. Rinse with clear water, dry with a soft cloth or dry in the shade. Do not expose yourself to the sun or dry in an open flame such as a stove to avoid deformation of the filter element.

Common faults of automobile air conditioning

Fault phenomena: unsatisfactory cooling effect, insufficient or no air volume in the air conditioning system, no cooling in the system, etc.

1. After turning on the refrigeration switch and the blower switch, there is cold air at the air outlet, but the temperature is too high to feel cool, and the temperature inside the car slowly drops. At this time, first check whether the compressor drive belt is damaged or skidded, and replace it in time if it is damaged.

If there is frost or dew on the liquid storage dryer, it means that the dryer may be broken and the refrigerant circulation inlet pipeline is blocked, so it should be overhauled and cleaned.

2. When the ignition switch is turned on and the blower switch is set to the first gear or several gears, there is no air outlet or there are too few air outlets. At this point, check whether the fuse is blown.

If the fuse is blown, check whether the fuse capacity matches, and whether the circuit of blower motor and armature winding are grounded, so as to find out the cause in time and repair or replace it in time.

3. If there is no cold air blowing from the air outlet after turning on the refrigeration switch and the blower switch, it is necessary to check whether the electromagnetic clutch can suck well. If the electromagnetic clutch is engaged normally and the compressor cannot rotate normally, the resistance value of the clutch coil should be measured.

If the measured resistance value is less than the specified value, it can be concluded that the coil is short-circuited between turns, and the coil should be replaced in time. After replacement, it needs to be tested until the system is no longer cool.
