A maverick writer like Ouyang Xingpeng is obviously not as popular as those who form a circle of gangs. Of course, in reality, there are also a group of writers who stick to the spiritual boundary of prose and create the same amount of excellent prose, such as some essays by Zhang Chengzhi, Han Shaogong, Shi Tiesheng and Lin Xianzhi.
