Also known as Qingshan Tower, it is the symbol of Qingxiu Mountain. Located at the top of Qingxiu Mountain, it was first built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. It was built by Xiao Yunju, a Jinshi from Nanning who was the Zuo Shilang of the Ministry of Civil Affairs at that time. It was named "Dragon Elephant Pagoda" based on the meaning of the Buddhist scripture "dragons traveling on water are powerful, and elephants traveling on land are powerful". It is 204 meters above sea level, more than ten feet high, with an octagonal and nine-story brick structure with double eaves.

In the fourth year of Tianqi in the Ming Dynasty (1624), the top two floors of the Dragon Elephant Tower were struck by lightning and collapsed, and it has never been repaired. Until 1937, the Yongning County Government feared that the tower would become a navigation target for Japanese planes bombing Nanning and was demolished. From then on, the Dragon Elephant Tower that had stood on Fengchi Ridge in Qingxiu Mountain for hundreds of years completely disappeared from people's sight... Liberation Later, in order to restore the Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area, the Nanning government rebuilt the Dragon Elephant Pagoda based on the original pagoda with reference to the Ming Dynasty style pagoda. The rebuilt Longxiang Tower still has an octagonal shape and nine floors, but the structure has been changed to a brick-concrete structure. The tower is 52.35 meters high and 12 meters wide, with green glazed tiles. There are 207 spiral staircases inside to reach the top of the tower. There are 72 copper bells hanging under the eaves of each floor. Standing on the top of the tower, having a bird's eye view of both sides of the Yongjiang River, looking back on the past, it's very emotional.
