First stop: shenjiamen Fishing Port.
Shenjiamen Fishing Port is located in the southeast of Zhoushan Island, facing the East China Sea and backed by Qinglong Mountain and Baihu Mountain. It forms a natural haven about 10 mile long and half a mile wide. It is the largest natural fishing port in China, and it is also known as the three largest fishing ports in the world with Bergen Port and callao Port in Peru. Together with Mount Putuo, Zhujiajian Island Island and Peach Blossom Island, it forms the Golden Triangle of East China Sea Tourism.
Second stop: Lujiazhi Tunnel
To reach Lujiashi, you need to cross a 400-meter-long undersea tunnel. The wall of the tunnel shows the changes of shenjiamen over the years and records the origin of shenjiamen fishing port. From here, we know the composition of the southeast end of Zhoushan Island and the sea areas of Lujiashi, Mazhi and Xiaogan Island. There are dozens of docks on both sides of shenjiamen Fishing Port, which can berth thousands of fishing boats and merchant ships, especially in fishing season. Now it is a comprehensive port integrating fishery, commerce and scenery.
There are many surnames of residents in this area, especially Shen, hence the name' shenjiamen'. However, in the poem "Fishing Port in shenjiamen" by Chen Yunhe, a contemporary poet, there is a saying that "the door of poetry, the door of love and the door of returning sails are opened to the world at the same time in China. Please come in. So many sunsets surround so much love. "
Tip:
The tunnel is full of miniature of port culture, but I walked for half an hour in just 400 meters.
Third stop: Lujiashi
The mountains on Lujiashi Island are not very high. You can see Qinglong Mountain in the north. After a steep slope of several hundred meters, we reached the top of the mountain. The lighthouse on the top of the mountain is just around the corner. This is obviously a modern landscape, and there are no tickets yet. Western-style, multi-storey building, there are several bars on the first floor. When you enter the yard, you will find that this building is quite distinctive, with a double-deck observation deck, which can have a bird's eye view of the whole fishing port, which is exactly what I am looking for.
About transportation:
There are no trains in Zhoushan. To go to Zhoushan, you need to transfer at Ningbo, and then go to the island by car or boat. The train from Wenzhou to Ningbo takes two hours, and the bus station is next to the railway station. Then you bought a bus ticket.
Taking a bus to Zhoushan Bus Terminal is actually the shenjiamen Bus Terminal marked on the map. When you get off the bus, you have to take a bus to the fishing port. You can stay there tonight because there is a lot of seafood there.
