Xibo River (Xibo River) belongs to the mainstream water system of Liaohe River and flows into Bohai Sea from Panshan Mountain.
Xibo River is the largest river in Harqin Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and one of the main tributaries of Laoha River, which originates from Meilingou, Maojingba in the west of Harqin Banner. Xibo River has the reputation of "Harqin Mother River".
Xibo River originates from Maojingba at the junction of Inner Mongolia and Hebei Province in the west of Harqin Banner. It was called Liangling River in Liao and Yuan Dynasties, Shibei River in Qing Dynasty and Xibo River in late Qing Dynasty. Xibo River is formed by the confluence of three tributaries in Meilin Town, its birthplace. It rises and falls all the way to Shan Ye, flows from southwest to northeast, and flows into Jinying River in Chifeng, with a total length of 1 16.7 km.
On both sides of Xibo River, the mountains and rivers are beautiful and the scenery is charming. There are many temples, monasteries and yamen in this land of geomantic omen. There are more than 20 temples along the coast, such as Fuhui Temple, Yue Ling Temple and Longquan Temple. , as well as the Mountain Temple on the top of Mao Jing Dam, Jinjiadian Catholic Church and Guandi Temple of both houses. Among them, Niujiayingzi Thousand Buddha Cave was built in Liao Dynasty, Longquan Temple was built in Yuan Dynasty, and the rest were in Qing Dynasty. The larger princes' mansions on both sides of the river are: Wang Yedian (now Wang Yedian), Fu Shang, Xu Ma (Jinshan) and Ye Gongfu. Among them, Harqin Wang Fu is the largest. Ma 'anshan, on the south bank of the river, is a beautiful tourist attraction with strange rocks and loose rocks.
In the thirty-seventh year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (1698), Emperor Kangxi went to Shengjing to worship his ancestors and passed by. He once wrote a poem: "The ancient Cangshan Road is endless, first frost rings in autumn, and the stream stays in the camp all night, sitting and watching hongxia."
