Brief introduction of Baisha town

Baisha town is located in the southeast of Changning city, on the west bank of Fuling water. It faces leiyang city across the sea in the east and borders Guiyang County in the west and south. It is an important market town in border towns such as Changning, Guiyang, Leiyang and Yongxing, and is known as the East Gate of Changning. 1May, 995, the district was withdrawn and merged with the township, and Yuanyang Jiaxiang was merged into Baisha Town. The town has jurisdiction over 28 villages, 4 neighborhood committees and 204 villagers' groups, with 7,687 households and 32,393 people, with a total area of 78.4 square kilometers and cultivated land area of12,352 mu.
