General Wu Xuan, also known as Liu's ancient manor. Located in Li Antang Village, Hema Township, 28km away from the county seat and 3km away from Dongxiang Town Market, it is visible along Wuxuan-Pingnan second-class highway to the fields at the intersection of Dongxiang Hua Le, and along the right side of asphalt road. There are two manors in Qing Dynasty and Republic of China. Qing Manor is located in Xialiantang Village, Dongxiang Town, wuxuan county. Its resident is under the lotus pond, so it is named Xialiantang Village, also known as Liantangzhai. It is 365,438+0 kilometers away from the county seat, 65,438+0 kilometers away from Baiya Grand Canyon Highway, a national natural scenic spot, and backed by Jinlong Temple.
The ancient manor was built in the sixth year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1742), covering an area of120,000 square meters and a building area of 2 1000 square meters. There are 245 original houses and 75 existing houses/kloc-0 (70 damaged houses). The whole ancient manor is basically well preserved. According to the traditional quadrangle bungalow building in China, the ancient manor was rectangular in layout, with nine halls and eighteen wells facing south, and was built in a unified and coordinated format of main, auxiliary and pedestrian lanes. There is a courtyard in front of the first hall, and the houses on both sides are connected with the main nine halls and eighteen wells. The house is a mixed structure of blue bricks, tiles, concrete, stone and wood. Around the house, cobblestones are used to build a happy horse racing fence with a height of 4m and a bottom width of 2.5m, and watchtowers are built at the four corners of the fence, which is more than twice as high as the fence. Both the Jockey Wall and the Watchtower are equipped with observation holes and gun holes. The houses in the village have the characteristics of camping, so they were always called Liantangzhai before liberation. The ancient manor has three entrances and exits, south, north and west, and there is the word "former general" on the wall of the south gate.
During the Republic of China, the owners of the manor were Liu Tongchen and Liu Bingyu, who were from Li Antang, a country of hippos. 19 12 was the head of the 3rd regiment of the 1st Division of Guangxi Army, 19 18 was the commander-in-chief of Long Jun, Guangxi, and 1922 was the commander-in-chief of the 10th Route Army of Guangxi Autonomous Army. 1 923110 died in Hong Kong in October, and the coffin was transported back to its hometown for burial (its tomb is in the village, covering an area of about1mu). Li Zongren, then Commander-in-Chief of Guangxi Gui Jun, led a group of officers and men to pay their respects, and more than 30,000 local relatives, officials and the masses came to pay their respects. It has been 266 years since the high-impedance Liu Zongkai began to live in Yingu Manor, and 10 generation has emerged, including three generations, soldiers, Pei, Germany, Ye, Nan, Yang, Chang and Ji. The old manor could not live any longer, so Liu Bingyu, the third-generation army lieutenant general, moved out of Tiandong, 500 meters south of the old manor in the early years of the Republic of China, and built a modern quadrangle-style manor with a combination of Chinese and western styles, which people called the foreign building or Gu Lou. It runs north and south, covering an area of 6,267 square meters, with a building area of 30 14 square meters. The main building is on the third floor, 12 rooms. There are 65,438+065,438+0 rooms and two floors in the auxiliary building. * * * Rooms 65,438+04 are all mixed structures of blue brick and wood structure. The layout is a traditional quadrangle in China. The main room in the middle has a compact layout, the rooms are connected with the corridor, and the left and right sides are strictly symmetrical. There is a front yard in front, with wings on both sides of the front yard, watchtowers at the four corners of the yard, and the first two watchtowers are connected with the Zouma Tower. The ground of the main building is square anvil pavement, wooden floor and blue tile roof. At the top of the main building, there are more than a dozen spire-shaped architectural decorations pointing to the blue sky. There is a 1000 square meter garden and a 900 square meter pond in front of the building, and flowers and trees are planted in the front and back yards to set off the front pond. On the basis of the traditional Lingnan manor architectural style, the building introduces European architectural style and belongs to a combination of Chinese and western architecture. Now it is basically well preserved, because it has been used as a hippo primary and secondary school since liberation. It was not until 2004 that Laibin Municipal People's Government listed it as a municipal key cultural relics protection unit that the school moved out and built another one.
