Why can't anyone steal Wu Zetian's tomb?

Since ancient times, grave robbers have always been an abomination. As the saying goes, a gentleman loves money well, but a grave robber can dig it upside down, no matter what a gentleman is not a gentleman, as long as it is profitable, no matter whether you were a prince or a civilian before your death. Many tombs in China have been visited by grave robbers more than once, but why is Wu Zetian's dry tomb safe and sound for thousands of years?

Ganling is the burial tomb of Wu Zetian and Tang Gaozong Li Zhi, which is located on Liangshan Mountain in the north of Ganxian County, Xianyang, Shaanxi Province. It is the best preserved of the eighteen tombs in the Tang Dynasty, and it is also the only tomb in the Tang Dynasty that has not been stolen. In fact, this is largely due to the famous physiognomy masters Yuan Tiangang and Li in the Tang Dynasty. They know astronomy above, geography below, and are especially proficient in geomantic omen and calculation and prediction. The wonderful book "TuiBeiTu" is the product of these two people.

According to legend, Wu Zetian once ordered everyone in the world to find a treasure house with good feng shui and build a mausoleum. After constant voting, Li, who was in charge of astronomy and lunar calendar at that time, and Yuan Tiangang, a famous fortuneteller, were finally selected.

After receiving the order, Li set out immediately and searched along the Weihe River. After camping in 998 1 day, one day at noon, he found a stone mountain in a place in Qinchuan. Standing in the distance, he looked out and saw that the mountain was like a young woman lying across the sky under white clouds. The two peaks are very eye-catching, round and full. Most importantly, there is a canyon that looks like a girl's leg with a waterfall in the middle.

Li was stunned by nature, and immediately took a compass to calculate, and finally buried a copper coin in a place before returning it to me. Moreover, after Yuan Tiangang took the order, he was also struggling to find it. Finally, on the 49 th day of July, he found a place where the purple light was soaring at night, vaguely corresponding to the Big Dipper, so he immediately rushed over, took off his hairpin and stuck it on the ground as a mark.

Later, when Wu Zetian sent someone to check the results of the dragon needle, he learned that they were looking for the same place, and the marked hairpin left by Yuan Tiangang was just inserted in the copper coin hole left by Li without any deviation. Wu Zetian immediately ordered two people to be rewarded and chose the mausoleum to start construction here.

After the precise positioning of two physiognomy masters, Gan Ling is not as simple as it seems. Ganling not only conforms to yin and yang, but also has good feng shui. At the time of construction, Yuan Tiangang and Li added something special to it.

According to legend, during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, Wen Tao of Yaozhou used his position to dig more than a dozen tombs of the Tang Dynasty, but failed to succeed in Ganling. As long as he brings people near Ganling, the sky will suddenly change. Originally, when Wan Li was empty, it suddenly became overcast, with strong winds, thunder and lightning. As long as he leaves Ganling, the sky will be the same. Wen Tao was frightened and dismissed the idea of Ganling. In fact, that's exactly what happened.

Not only Wen Tao, but also many grave robbers are hostile to Gan Ling. However, after encountering some strange spirits, there will be no evil intentions. It is precisely because of this that Gan Ling narrowly escaped the hardships of more than 1000 years and is still safe and sound.
