Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, referred to as "Guizhou University of Finance and Economics" or "Guicai" for short, was founded in1958,2012. It was renamed Guizhou University of Finance and Economics with the approval of the Ministry of Education, and was added as a doctoral degree awarding unit in 20 18. It is a financial and economic university with distinctive characteristics, which focuses on economic management, coordinated development of law, literature, teaching, art, science and engineering. It is a key training base for economic management talents in Guizhou Province, which is built by the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government. Professor Hong Yinxing, a famous economist, winner of "Sun Economics Award" and former Party Secretary of Nanjing University, served as honorary president of Guizhou University of Finance and Economics.
