The sign on the roadside impressively reads Tang He, which shows that their tomb specifications are equivalent to those of the emperor. This is the stone tablet in front of Wei Zhi's tomb. According to legend, Li Shimin carved the book himself. The inscription line has been renovated, the huge base is raised by iron wire, the head is damaged and repaired, and the heavy back is supported. After thousands of years of wind and rain erosion, the grass pattern of Xiangyun on the back is still clearly visible, and the cup body is smooth, but there are no words. It is said that the words on the inscription were rubbed off by Emperor Taizong, which is consistent with the historical records. This is the early change of Wei Zhi's tomb.
Western use of Wei's tomb repair. At present, the base of the unknown monument is scattered in the grass on the east side, and the monument body has disappeared. Wei Zhi was honest and frank all his life, and the realm of dedication helped Emperor Taizong create the rule of Guan Zhen, and he was also a representative figure of courtiers in history. He devoted himself to making suggestions for the country and became the right-hand man of Emperor Taizong. Therefore, Wei Zhi's mausoleum is not only tall and luxurious, but also conforms to the emperor's specifications, from which we can see Wei Zhi's achievements. The construction of his mausoleum was strictly controlled by the emperor, which paved the way for the change of Wei Zhi's mausoleum.
In the same year as his death, Li Chenggan colluded with Hanwang, Xu, a surname and Hou, but the rebellion was exposed, Hou was killed and Du was exiled. Because Wei Zhi recommended two people, Emperor Taizong flew into a rage. In a rage, he knocked down his tombstone and canceled his son Wei Shuyu's engagement with the princess of Xincheng. Therefore, great changes have taken place in Wei Zhi's tomb, which is no longer brilliant. This is the mid-term change of Wei Zhi's tomb.
Just after Emperor Taizong's expedition to Koguryo, he regretted his mistake, remembered Wei Zhi again, and set up a new monument for him to comfort his family. Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong, once said: My achievements today are world-famous, but only Wei Zhi. The Preface to Sui Shu, one of the 14 histories, gave a general introduction to Chen Shu, Shu Qi and Liang Shu, and compiled it into a book, which made great contributions to the historical and cultural heritage of China. Since then, Wei Zhi's mausoleum has regained its glory and will not change again.
