Brief introduction of Shanghai Meiyuan primary school

Meiyuan Primary School is a school with a long history and fine traditions in Pudong New Area. 1950 was renamed Changzhan Primary School, and 1980 was renamed Meiyuan Primary School. Meiyuan Primary School in Pudong New Area, Shanghai was founded in Qing Dynasty, formerly known as Peier Church School, and was then run by Yaojiazhai Catholic Church. It was named Pell in memory of the members of the Pegmons Church in Belgium. 1948, the people's government took over the school and named it Qichangchang Primary School in Huangpu District. 1982 Huangpu District Education Bureau invested in a new teaching building, which was renamed as Meiyuan Primary School in Huangpu District. After the establishment of Pudong New Area, it was changed to Meiyuan Primary School in Pudong New Area, which is still in use today.
