Lu Banchi's principle of choosing good or bad luck is "wealth is the official basis", but even the size of good or bad luck is used differently in the workshop. For example, Yimen is mainly used in schools, and Guanmen is mainly used in government offices and government agencies. The word "wealth" is commonly used by ordinary people.
There are also eight rules for the use of words:
1, financial word gate, used for ordinary families.
2, the word door, used for medical and pharmacy business.
3, away from the word gate, used for some mobile services.
Ziyimen is used in schools and some private families.
5, the official word door, used for official affairs.
6, rob the word door, mostly used for animal pens, but also for prison.
7. One-word gate is the same as one-word gate.
8. The word "Ji" is used in shops.
As a traditional measuring tool in China, it is gradually ignored. But for consumers who are very particular about geomantic omen, they have to know Lu Banchi when buying mahogany furniture.
The floor ruler, also known as "quasi-floor ruler", is a measuring tool used in building houses and houses, similar to the bending ruler used by craftsmen today. It is divided into four rows from left to right, which are the traditional four scales of inch, Lu Banchi, Ding Lan ruler and centimeter.
Lu Banchi, about 42.09 cm long, is said to have been written by the public transport class of Lu in the Spring and Autumn Period. Later, eight characters were added to the geomantic circle to measure the good or bad of the house, which was called "door plan".
Its eight characters are: wealth, illness, divorce, righteousness, official, robbery, harm and capital. Under each word, it is divided into four small words to distinguish between good and bad.
Extended data
It is said that Lu Ban and Wen Gong are both famous craftsmen, but Lu Ban is always superior, which makes Wen Gong very jealous.
Once, these two men were ordered to lead their people to build a palace. While people were not looking, Jin Wengong sawed the ruler that Lu Ban used to measure the length short and changed it from one and a half feet to one and a half inches. When Lu Ban's disciples used this ruler to cut wood, they found that the length was wrong. Time was short and materials were exhausted. Lu Ban used his quick wits to replace the insufficient length with a stone pier, and the result was more solid and beautiful.
The king was very satisfied. When people asked him how he had such a whimsical idea, Lu Ban smiled and replied, relying on the ruler given by Wen Gong! From then on, Wen Gong was convinced. This ruler has been handed down to this day. That is, the woodworking ruler, also known as the "square ruler", is mainly used to check whether the planed plates, purlins, structures, etc. are vertical and whether the edges are at right angles.
Soon after, Lubanchi appeared, Ding Lan ruler was integrated, and then inches and centimeters were integrated. It is an important tool for measurement and calibration. Because of its special function, it is most widely displayed in geomantic culture and architectural culture.
