Time to go out! Xinbaojun RM-5 drove from Chengdu to Hailuogou and met Hongyuan Hongshitan.

If you want to appreciate the mysterious customs of western Sichuan, self-driving is undoubtedly the best way. Speaking of National Highway 3 18, Moxi Ancient Town, Hailuogou and Gongga Snow Mountain ... everyone who yearns for the plateau and loves western Sichuan will be very excited. The photo tour "Driving with You" took me to Xinbaojun RM-5 this time.

This time, I set out from Chengdu to Hailuogou, passing through Ya 'an City, Luding County, Moxi Town, and then to Yajiageng to enjoy the plateau scenery, passing through various sections such as urban roads, expressways, Panshan Road and unpaved roads. A one-way trip of more than five hours and hundreds of kilometers is a great test for drivers and vehicles. Friends who are familiar with this road will never forget that there is a world-famous Yajiageng Hongshi Park next to this section of Panshan Road.

The so-called red stone is called "red stone" because it grows around Gongga Snow Mountain, beside a stream at an altitude of more than 3000 meters, and a layer of algae will be attached to the stone. Because it is rich in carotene and bright red in the sun, it is called "red stone". The surrounding area of Gongga Mountain is the largest concentrated distribution area of red stone in the world.

In this trip, our motorcade consists of Xinbaojun RM-5 and Xinbaojun RS-5. I drive an RM-5. The brand-new Baojun RM-5, which is located in MPV, looks like an extended SUV instead of a traditional MPV. The ground clearance of the chassis is the same as that of the RS-5 parked aside. Traditional MPVs are generally equipped with side sliding doors, but RM-5 is still a traditional side door, so I prefer to regard it as a 6-seat SUV.

The whole shape design inherits the family style of Xinbaojun, especially the design of the front face, which can be recognized at a glance in the traffic.

The design of the tail is not as recognizable as the front face. Penetrating taillights seem to be a consistent design trend at present. The most interesting design is the rear turn signal, which is a bit like a "happy lantern".

To tell the truth, I am not a Yan value party, but when faced with amazing and attractive choices, I often choose the latter. There are more surprises in the carriage. The interior styles of RM-5 and RS-5 are similar. RM-5 will look more homely and advanced. Interior materials is almost all soft, and there is some hard plastic on the back door panel, which is acceptable.

The configuration in the car moved me a little. This top model of 6.5438+0.2 million yuan is actually equipped with adaptive cruise and active braking within the full speed range, plus lane keeping function, which makes my mouth water all over the floor. I recently ordered a new car. Because we can't buy the top model, we have to give up adaptive cruise and active braking. These two configurations are really fragrant and easy to use.

Everyone is familiar with the powertrain of 1.5T+CVT. For a car with 65,438+10,000 yuan, this sense of power is very good, which ensures ride comfort and is a bit explosive, which is very suitable for family travel.

At this level, the directivity of the steering wheel is still sufficient, and the noise inside the car is acceptable within high speed110 km/h. In addition, the filtration of the chassis against speed bumps and small bumps is obvious, the road feeling is relatively direct, and the suspension stability is good, but it seems that there are no shortcomings. Again, a model with a sales version of 654.38+ 10,000 yuan can't cover everything, which is already a very high level in the same class.

Mountain driving is still a test of drivers' skills, especially this slightly difficult winding mountain road. Compared with the same level of Xinbaojun RM-5, the suspension support is still relatively strong. 1.5T On the Panshan Road at an altitude of more than 3,000 meters, the power is still sufficient, and climbing is not a problem.
