Connection and use method of boiler steam-water cyclone separator and steam drum

The cyclone separator consists of a cylinder, an inlet pipe, a top cover, an overflow ring, a simple bottom guide vane and a bottom plate.

Cyclone separator is a kind of steam-water separation equipment with good separation effect. Its working principle and process are as follows: the high-flow steam-water mixture enters the cylinder tangentially through the introduction pipe to generate rotary motion, and under the action of centrifugal force, water droplets are thrown to the cylinder wall, so that steam-water is initially separated. The separated water flows into the water volume of the drum through the guide vanes around the bottom of the drum. Saturated steam flows upward in the cylinder and winds into the gap between the corrugated plates of the top cover. Under the action of centrifugal force and inertial force, small water droplets are thrown onto the corrugated plate, and under the action of adhesive force, the water film flows downward and flows into the water volume of the drum through the simple wall, so that steam and water are separated step by step, and saturated steam is introduced into the steam space of the drum from above or around the top cover.

The internal device of boiler drum in power station is incomplete because of different parameters and capacities. Taking high-pressure and ultra-high-pressure boiler drums as examples, this paper introduces their internal devices, layout and main functions.

Several cyclone separators are installed on both sides along the length direction of the drum, and the top of each cyclone separator drum is equipped with a louver (corrugated plate) separator, whose main function is to preliminarily separate the steam and water in the steam-water mixture introduced from the riser. In the middle and upper part of the steam drum, there is no steam cleaning orifice plate in the horizontal direction, and there is a clean water supply layer on it. When steam passes through the water layer, a part of salt dissolved in steam or carried by steam will be dissolved in water to reduce the salt content of steam. A perforated plate is installed near the top of the steam drum to evenly increase the steam flow in the steam drum and further separate the moisture in the steam. There is an emergency drain nozzle about 150mm below the center line of the steam drum; There is a continuous sewage pipe about 200mm below the normal water level line, and a dosing pipe is arranged below. A cross baffle is also installed at the entrance of the downcomer to prevent the downcomer from carrying steam due to the vortex barrel at the nozzle of the downcomer.
