What are the Handan Reservoir?

There are five reservoirs in Handan, namely Yuecheng Reservoir, Dongwushi Reservoir, Chegu Reservoir, Shangkou Reservoir and Qingta Reservoir.

1, Yuecheng Reservoir

Yuecheng Reservoir is located in the southwest of Handan City, in Cixian County. It belongs to the controlling project of Zhanghe River in Zhangwei River System of Haihe River Basin. Built in 1958. At that time, migrant workers from Yongnian, Daming, Cixian, Quzhou, Nangong and Anyang, Henan participated in the construction, with a total of 89,700 people. It can be said that the momentum is huge, the gongs and drums are loud, and the spirit of farmland is carried forward.

2. Dongwushi Reservoir

Dongwushi Reservoir is also located in Cixian County, on the main stream of Fuyang River. Built in 1958, and later expanded, the total storage capacity is 1.8 1 m3.

3. Chegu Reservoir

Chegu Reservoir is located in Wu 'an City (county-level city) of Handan City, formerly known as Dongfeng Reservoir. On 1975, it was renamed Chegu Reservoir. Now Chaoyang Lake Scenic Area has been developed here, with beautiful scenery and attracting many tourists.

4. Shangkou Reservoir

Shangkou Reservoir, also known as Jingniang Lake, is known as the Three Gorges of Taihang Mountain.

5. Qingta Reservoir

Qingta Reservoir, located in Shexian County, Handan City, is now developed into Qingta Lake Scenic Area, which consists of Qingta Lake, resort, Longdong, sow village, rainbow trout farm, Baizhang Cliff, Yuefei Temple, old side wall, stone snake cliff and other landscapes.
