The Unique Style of Nanxun

A pack of zongzi

Every family in Tomb-Sweeping Day washes rice and makes zongzi. Wash glutinous rice, and wrap zongzi with bamboo leaves into triangle, quadrangle and pointed foot, including jujube zongzi (with red dates or candied dates), red bean paste zongzi and meat zongzi. Four or five are strung together and cooked in a big pot with a big fire. Add water at any time, cook zongzi and stew it overnight, drain it and hang it on a bamboo pole or rope. When you are awake, travel around the mountains and bring a few strings of zongzi; After Tomb-Sweeping Day, take zongzi out of the ground as "three feeds (snacks)"; Entertain guests to eat zongzi. There is a local proverb: "Kick shuttlecock in the first month, play badminton in February, and make rice dumplings in March".

Second, be a Qingming Mariko.

The so-called Qingming Zi Yuan is made of glutinous rice flour, one is green and the other is white. Green jiaozi is rice flour, which is made of pumpkin vines and green leaves cooked and stained with quicklime powder. Qingming Zi Yuan is made into a cocoon shape without stuffing, so it is also called cocoon Zi Yuan. In the village workshop in the south of Zhennan (at the junction with Tongxiang), Qingming Mariko was made into two corners. There is a saying in the countryside: "The Qingming truth has two sharp heads, which will make you crazy." It means that in Tomb-Sweeping Day in the spring of March, everything is full of vitality, and people are full of vitality, especially in the cold mountains, where silkworm flowers are rolled, boxing is performed, white boats are stepped on, and black stones (shoulder poles) are propped up, and they are rolled fiercely, regardless of gender, age and age. All the people were ecstatic and seemed crazy.

Qingming Mariko is a zodiac sign. When the farmer Bao Qingming jiaozi, he kneaded green and white rice balls into the zodiac. Blue dragon, monkey, chicken, white sheep, rabbit, spotted cow, pig, dog, etc. Use half of red beans or wild black beans (commonly known as sheep's eyes and black beans) as animal eyes, steam them to dryness, and then take them off the steaming rack. When I was an animal, I made some cats. Although cats do not belong to the zodiac, silkworm cats are the mascots of farmers; In addition, be a "cocoon mountain". Together with Qingming Mariko, these were put into steamed rice bowls or plates to worship the God of Wealth and the five saints of silkworm flowers, and to pray for 24 points of silkworm flowers. According to the custom, the Qingming Zodiac and the rice cakes (which have been air-dried) placed on the stove hill are fried in oil, so that children can eat them when the long summer comes, which means that it is not summer after eating.

San Chen Tian Maita pancake

Sweet wheat cake is a specialty of the market. Market employees have the custom of eating sweet wheat cakes in Qingming and long summer. Boil soup and rice flour (half japonica rice, half glutinous rice) with white grass or twisted grass (the leaves of both kinds of grass are shredded), knead repeatedly, knead into a lump, steam thoroughly in a pot, and slowly mix with germinated wheat flour (also called sweet wheat flour) after cooling. There are too many sweet wheat, and the rice flour is sticky, so it is difficult to make cakes. When kneading the cooked dough of sweet wheat, it should not be too cold, otherwise it will be kneaded unevenly and make the cake hard. After making the round cake, sprinkle less sesame seeds and bake the cake with oil repeatedly until it is light yellow. When baking a cake, you can add less sugar water, which will taste sweeter. It is better to add walnut, bean paste or black sesame stuffing to the cake. Sweet wheat cake is a local specialty food. Now, from Qingming to long summer, there are several stalls on the street that are sold by tricycles. Guests from Huzhou, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai and other places also like to come to the market in Tomb-Sweeping Day to taste sweet wheat cakes or bring some as gifts to relatives and friends.

Sacrifice to grave-sweeping, burn Chu's gold ingots (Chu cut white money into odd gold ingots, pasted with gold and silver paper foil, known as the ghost capital, which was left by ancient funerary wares), save the territory, spread grass, add soil and hang paper strips (called floating white or evocation), and return it to the people (called grave wine)-("Going to the grave on Qingming Festival is a big folk activity. People in the town have advocated filial piety for generations, and every family in Tomb-Sweeping Day worships their ancestors. In the evening, Tomb-Sweeping Day set vegetarian dishes, put chopsticks, burned tin foil and Buddhist scriptures, and held a grand memorial ceremony. There is a saying in Tomb-Sweeping Day that "three days before and four days after", that is, Tomb-Sweeping Day can visit the grave three days before and four days after. The whole family, old and young, bring offerings to the grave and add new soil to the ancestral grave, which is called "adding soil". When the local Hakkas go to the grave, they will dig two rose-shaped clods and put them on the top of the grave. After the funeral reform, colored paper banners were hung on graves (now pavilion tombs) or grave trees. All this is to show that children and grandchildren have visited the grave for their old friends. There is a local folk song "Four Blessings of Meng Jiangnv", the third paragraph of which sings: "March is clear, pink and green are in spring, white paper floats on the grave, and Meng Jiangnv's grave is deserted." It is said that Fan Xiliang was forced to build the Great Wall and didn't go home during the Qingming period.

In the old society, the graves of local bureaucrats and rich children were luxuriously built, and a "land of geomantic omen" covering an area of 100 mu was chosen, and people were specially invited to help manage the cemetery all the year round and make friends with the grave owners.

Eat snails (called picking green, Wu Qingzhi's sick silkworm is called green niang, so it hurts), and scatter the shell on the house at night (called driving white tigers); Sprinkle lime in front of the door to make a bow and arrow (drive silkworms)-(Lianxi literature). On the day of cold food, the banquet is called "Qingming Banquet", and there is a local proverb: "The banquet on New Year's Eve should be strict, and the banquet on Qingming Festival should be early". Also known as preventing tile thorns (insects) on eaves rafters. Draw a big box with lime on the road in front of the door, and draw weapons such as bows, arrows, broadswords and halberds in the box to ward off evil spirits and keep peace.
