Cultural Tradition of Baiyun Mountain

Generally speaking, Italians are not good at walking. But as far as culture and tradition are concerned, dolomite mountain is not like Italy, at least not as people think. There is still a strong Odd tendency in many places here, among which Germanic fitness and outdoor sports are the most prominent. Perhaps it is this more Nordic-style scenery and the wonderful natural beauty of Dolomite Mountain that make this area a popular base for many hikers.

No matter which town or village you go to, you can find comfortable and reasonably priced hotels. You can get maps and walking advice suitable for all kinds of physical strength from any tourist center. Walking into the mountainous area, you will find a trail with clear road signs and many people walking through it, and there are a lot of mountain cottages. You can spend the night in a simple house, or you can stop to rest and recover your strength before moving on. Towns and villages are usually located on hillsides, so the path quickly extends to high places (you can take a cable car in summer, so you can follow the steep path without much effort). Every hill is marked on the map (the route number is designated by the Italian Alpine Club), but the road signs themselves are very clear, and maps are rarely used. Every town has outdoor shops selling boots and professional equipment.
