There are a few places that are more interesting. Tomb of Yu Ji, also known as Yu Dun, is located in Tan Village, Erlong Township, 30 kilometers south of Dingyuan County. The tomb is a large mound, oval in shape, divided into three halves at the top, with a diameter of about 69 meters at the bottom and a height of about 29 meters. Part of the north edge of the tomb was dug out in 1958, and the grass on the tomb is called beauty grass. There is a stone tablet in front of the tomb, with the inscription "The Tomb of Yu Ji, the Overlord of Western Chu", the horizontal inscription "Women for the Qianqiu", and the couplet "Yu Xi has been a beauty since ancient times, but Ji Ye'an left the green tomb alone to accompany the dusk."
Dingyuan Outang Martyrs Memorial Hall is the center of the Huainan Anti-Japanese Base Area behind enemy lines. At that time, Liu Shaoqi, whose pseudonym was Hu Fu, led the Central Plains Bureau to direct the anti-Japanese struggle in Central China. The "British Directory" in the museum records the heroic names and touching deeds of more than 10,000 martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country.
The Garden Lake Garden Lake Park construction project is one of the top ten urban projects determined by our county this year. Located in the west of Dingcheng, the scenic area has undulating terrain and intertwined rivers and lakes, naturally forming a "five continents and three islands" landscape. The scenic area is full of lush trees and beautiful environment. It is a good place for Dingcheng residents to relax and enjoy the scenery. In October 1993, our county started the preparation work for the Garden Lake Park and completed a total investment of 8 million yuan.
The overall goal of park construction is to take the main scenic area of ??Huayuan Lake Park as the center and the construction of an open ecological park as the main line to build a first-class park among county-level cities in the province in the west of Dingcheng, integrating leisure and culture. It is a new scenic spot integrating entertainment, patriotism education, in order to stimulate the development of western urban areas and enhance the taste and class of the city.
The planning and positioning of the park by Zhejiang Jiajing Planning and Design Institute, a national garden design A-level unit, is: based on Dingyuan’s long history and culture, using modern landscape gardening techniques and absorbing foreign post-modernism The design concept is based on the principles of ecological priority and people-oriented, creating an open space for leisure, recreation and entertainment with a beautiful environment and the fragrance of birds and flowers all year round for citizens. The total planned land area of ??the park is 307 acres, which is divided into five functional areas: water sports area, historical and cultural area, children's activity area, commercial service area, and Taohuazhou landscape tour area.
In order to increase investment in construction, more than 300 acres of surrounding land were bundled with park construction, and the land was publicly sold in exchange for park construction funds. Through park construction and housing development, the development of the western part of Dingcheng was stimulated.
Dingyuan County Chronicles of Zhongjiuhua Qing Dynasty records: "Zhongjiuhua Temple is located at the foothills of Wufeng Mountain, 60 miles northwest of Dingyuan County, where the Overlord Farewell My Concubine." Zhongjiuhua Temple, also known as Wufeng The Zen Yuan was built by the monks of the sect during the Southern and Northern Dynasties. It was destroyed in the war and rebuilt in the Song Dynasty. Wang Ai, a poet of the Ming Dynasty, wrote a poem when he visited the Zhongjiuhua Temple: "I occasionally pass by the Buddha's place, green grass and cold cloud peaks, the Buddhist temple is clear of dust, the dragon palace rises to pay homage, I pick up flowers and see the moon for the first time, and suddenly hear it across the water. Bell. Sitting alone in the mountain house, quietly watching the bamboos and pines."
There is a bluestone monument 2.4 meters high and 0.8 meters wide in the Jiuhua resort. According to investigation, Zhongjiuhua Temple is the largest and most beautiful ancient temple among the many temples around the ancient city of Yinling. There is "Lingrun Hall" in front of the temple, "Bawang Village" behind the temple, and "Yuji Temple" across the water from Bawang Village. According to legend, Xiang Yu fled Gaixia and stayed here after crossing the Huaihe River. There is Shuiyue Temple on the left side of the temple, and there are Mingquan, Chuquan, Hanquan and Pearl Spring on the mountainside. The springs and streams are so clear that they never dry up even in severe droughts.
Luqiao Eight Scenes Luqiao Town is an ancient town with a thousand years old. It used to have eight sceneries, which are famous far and near. Due to several wars, some of them no longer exist, and some are only ruins. The survivors are often unknown. knowledge. Comrade Fang Huanming, a Luqiao native, looked back on the past and recited eight quatrains to express his feelings. This poem recounts the old appearance of the eight sceneries and is compiled below.
Snow on Huangshan Mountain
This mountain is located about eight kilometers northeast of Luqiao Town and is at the western end of Fengyang Mountain. Although the mountain is not high, it is towering because it is close to the Yao River. Looking at it, it is wrapped in silver and looks even more majestic.
The western edge of Huangshan Mountain is close to the water's edge, with broken ridges and peaks rising into the sky. I prefer the sun wrapped in silver, like a goddess dancing gracefully.
Longtan Misty Rain
Longtan is located about one kilometer southwest of Luqiao Town, where Luoshui flows into the entrance of Yao River. Luoshui flows into the Yao River from east to west, and the flow direction turns steeply by 90 degrees, so the water swirls endlessly and forms a deep pool. In the past, when it was not polluted, the water was sweet and residents in the town got most of their drinking water from here. It is commonly known as Yaowan water.
Luoshui flows eastward and then northward, and the water swirls thousands of times around the green pool. Misty and happy, after the misty rain, I heard the pipa playing softly.
Evening Bell of Ci Temple
In the past, there were three large-scale temples in Luqiao Town, one was the Confucius Temple, the other was the Dongyue Temple, and the third was the Nan'an Ci Temple, which looked like a guide temple and was located in the south Outside the door, pay tribute to Guanyin Bodhisattva. Avalokitesvara has a kind and dignified appearance, holding a child in her arms and sitting on a lotus platform. It is commonly known as Avalokitesvara Guanyin. There is an endless stream of people praying for her son.
Build temples and Yiquan, and Putuo came from the east to form good relationships. Who knows that a kind Lord can bless you? I hear the sound of bells in my ears.
Dongguo Songtao
Although Luqiao is a thousand-year-old town, it does not have a city wall. Dongguo seems to refer to the Hetou Zheng area about 8 miles east of the town. The terrain is high and the Luo River flows west. The ancients were superstitious and considered it a geomantic treasure. They built tombs and monuments here and planted pines and cypresses. For example, the tomb of the Fang family in Luqiao was here. . Over time, pine forests spread all over the fields and became a scene.
The ancient tombs are scattered in various places, so you can explore the ancient tombs and read the inscriptions. Wherever the sky wind rises, pines and waves surge, which is suspected to be Xie An's millions of soldiers. (Dongguo is located on the shore of Luoshui, where the Jin army defeated the Qin army)
Chongqiao reflects the moon
Chongqiao is commonly known as the five-arch bridge. It has a special structure and seems to be built on a bridge. The bridge was built around the 12th year of Jian'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty. According to legend, Emperor Wu of Wei sent his army south after unifying the Central Plains and forged weapons here. The bridge was built on the Yao River to facilitate transportation. Mr. Fang Zizhen, a Hanlin scholar in the Qing Dynasty, wrote in a poem: "There is something about cast iron and gold, and the rumors are definitely not false. Quyang was governed in ancient times and now is Xiongzhen, and the southern furnace is better than the northern furnace." When the Japanese invaded, most of them were blown up, and the bridge is still in ruins. Survival.
The thousand-year-old bridge bridges the thoroughfare, and the shadows and ripples rise above the moon. Where is the beauty of those days now? The dream of Gaotang Lake is vague.
Xihe Liulang
Xihe Liulang is located on the bank of Zhenxiyao River, east of the bridge, and is commonly known as Willow Row. In ancient times, when friends and family were traveling far away, they would send them off to Willow Street. I broke willows and gave them to each other to show that I never forget my hometown.
Send you to Willow Tree Bank, where my love for you will last forever. From then on, the world became our home, and we always smelled the fragrance of willow leaves in the West River.
Fengling Qinglan
Fengling is Huangshan. Due to different visual perspectives, the mountain shape is different. When looking from the west to the east, the solitary peaks stand tall; when looking from the north to the south, the mountains are winding. It stretches for dozens of miles.
The aftermath of the Great Farewell crosses Huaibin, and the winding green ridges look like painted screens. Danshan is planted with sycamore trees all over, and there are green phoenixes singing in the shade.
Note: Fengyang Mountain is a remnant of the Dabie Mountains.
Huaipu Guifan
Luqiao Town is adjacent to Gaotang Lake, connected to the Huaihe River by the Yao River, and is navigable in all seasons. Merchants from all over the world gathered here, and it was known as "Little Nanjing" in the past. In 1954, there was a flood that had not happened in a century and the rivers were silted up. Returning to Huaipu can only be a good memory.
The Yaohe River and the Luoshui River flow into the Huaihe River, making Gaotang Autumn unforgettable for tourists. Thousands of hectares of blue waves are filled with fish and birds, and the sails are closed as soon as the sunset returns.
