In this fertile land, the Hakka people work hard and multiply for generations. In the history of the Chinese revolution, the important Gutian Conference was held here, which forever marked this thousand-year-old town. Red mark.

People say that Gutian is a blessed place and the most beautiful blessed place in the world. Not only because of the beautiful mountains and rivers here and the poetic Hakka life, but also because this place once lit up the spark of China's Red Revolution. When the rich historical culture and the red revolutionary culture collide, Gutian, a thousand-year-old town, shines with extraordinary light.

According to legend, "Gutian" was named after a strange field in the town. More than 1,000 years ago, the ancestors of Gutian migrated here from the Central Plains to open up wasteland and cultivate land. However, due to climate differences, the crops they brought from their hometown Sorghum and wheat found it difficult to adapt to this warm and moist soil. For a time, food shortage became a problem for everyone. One day, a man was walking by the river and discovered a novel crop growing in a field with strange rocks.

The novel plant he discovered is the rice we are talking about now. He took the millet home and processed it into rice. After cooking it, he felt it was very fragrant and sweet. So he used the remaining seeds as seeds and tried planting them in his own field.

After several years of exploration, the man finally understood the habits of rice and grew plump fruits. However, the man's family did not exclusively enjoy this gift of nature. Instead, they took out all the seeds harvested that year and distributed them to the villagers for free, and taught them the planting techniques they had worked so hard to explore. From then on, The people here have all switched to rice planting, and every household has rice. This small town in the mountains has become a blessed place where "a field, a full supply of clothing".

In order to commemorate the man's spirit of selfless dedication, later generations respectfully called him 'Wu Guzi'. Because of the strange field, the town was renamed 'Gutian'." To this day, in the ancient town, People in China still continue the custom of worshiping the "Five Grain God". While praying for good weather and abundant harvests, they are also expressing their respect and admiration for the selfless spirit of the "Five Grain God".
