I Ching, Buddhist Scripture, Tao Te Ching, Three Character Classic

Don’t think that the I Ching, the Buddhist scriptures or the Tao Te Ching are so profound and mysterious. In the final analysis, by reading the simplest three-character sutra, you can gain insight into the complex world and break through many of the confusions in life.

The road to simplicity is simple. People will get tired if they think complicatedly. If you are unhappy, read "In the beginning of man, his nature is good." Return to the original state of man, come and go naked, money and fame will not be brought with him in life, and he will not be taken with him in death. Live a simple life and think simple things. Not harming others, not being harmed by others, is the best state in the world.

There was a teacher who believed in Buddhism and recited Buddhism. When he went traveling, he took a photo of worshiping Buddha in a temple and sent it to his circle of friends. Although freedom of belief may be left unchecked for ordinary people, this teacher was interviewed by his superiors, immediately deleted from his circle of friends, and was given a warning.

This teacher’s realm is indeed not very high. He does not know that the foundation of Buddhism is to accumulate virtue and do good deeds. It is not just about showing off by worshiping Buddha. If Buddha knew that there were such disciples, he would be ashamed! We who don’t understand Buddhism also know that as long as we have good intentions and do good deeds, we don’t care about the form whether we believe in Buddhism or not.

When I was a child, in the countryside, there were always some blind men holding long bamboo poles. Peng explores the road, even though he cannot see it, he travels farther than anyone else. He goes from village to house and tells people's fortunes and tells their fortunes. Women and children often gathered in a circle to listen to him calculate birth dates. From birth to death of old age or illness, their life's destiny was under his control. If any part of your destiny is not good, you need to pay attention to something and change your destiny.

Later I learned that fortune tellers also have a book, which is the "Book of Changes". Once you understand the above content, you can tell people's fortunes and read Feng Shui. Nowadays, more and more people use the "Book of Changes" as a tool to solve doubts in life, grasp its essence, and obtain truly useful information.

For example, the universe and the eight trigrams are mutually reinforcing and restraining each other. All things have their own natural laws. Only by letting nature take its course can we extract the essence of heaven and earth, avoid its filth, and use what is useful.

So when we read the "Book of Changes", we don't need to be superstitious about fate being predestined by God, and that your birth determines your fate. We only need to understand that if you do good deeds, you will have the best feng shui and the best destiny. Because your mind is at ease, your heart will be at ease. Because your heart will be at ease, your body and mind will be at peace. Isn’t that the best destiny?

As for the "Tao Te Ching", the person who wrote it was even more literal-minded and beyond the comprehension of ordinary people. But in the final analysis, it is still the same sentence, the Tao is natural, the Tao can be Tao, and there is no Tao in victory. No matter how many principles you preach, if you don’t put them into practice, it’s better not to preach them at all. No matter how many books you read, it will be useless if you just memorize them without adapting them to the actual situation. Therefore, sometimes, a young lady is not as good as a maid. The young lady plays chess, calligraphy and painting all day long, and does not understand cereals and grains. When encountering natural or man-made disasters, the maid can support herself, but the young lady is useless and relies on others for help.

In today’s society, it’s not that you don’t need to learn how to cook because of your high degree of education; it’s not that you think that you can boss around how rich you are; You can sleep peacefully; once a person consumes his blessings, he will suffer.

People who read the "Book of Changes" thoroughly tell others' fortunes and change their fortunes, but they cannot predict when and how they will die.

People who believe in Buddhism kneel in the sutra hall, not knowing that their parents are Buddhas and their actions are Buddhas, and they go around looking for immortals and asking questions.

People who preach the "Tao Te Ching" often talk about benevolence and righteousness, but behind the scenes they are corrupt and pervert the law, regard human life as trivial, and do not understand that all living beings are equal.

No matter what "scripture" or how many books you have read, if you just study hard, it will not affect our destiny. Only hard work, simplicity, and kindness can ultimately enable us to live a happy life.

No matter what scripture, it is not omnipotent. Only a kind heart that is good and beautiful is the spiritual wealth that each of us should pursue.
