Development history

Kalashnikov rifles were originally mass-produced with 7.62× 39m43mm medium-sized bullets. After four years of development, they were adopted by the Soviet Union in 1949 (AK-47 assault rifle 1 model).

During the period of 1948- 1950, AK47 assault rifles with metal punching boxes were mass-produced. By 195 1, the AK47 assault rifle was replaced by a variant gun with a milled shell, and the manufacturing method of the shell was changed from stamping to machining.

The case milled by machinery has strong advantages, heavy disadvantages, high material consumption, high production cost and low production efficiency. There are two kinds of variant guns with milling shell, and the difference between them is mainly the connection mode between the stock and the shell.

The other is type 3 of 1953. This AK-47 mainly improves the connection mode of the second gun stock, especially simplifies the processing method of the shell, which is convenient for mass production.
