Brief introduction of Tuhai River

Tu Hai was called Luochuan in ancient times (also known as "Luoshui" and "tà hé"), which is one of the nine major rivers in Yushu, and was called Tuhai River after the Yuan Dynasty.

Tuhai River has a long history and has experienced many vicissitudes. It was formed by dredging and merging Shang River and Tu River which were formed successively in ancient times. On the other hand, at that time, because Dayu used a lot of labor to manage the river, and because wild boars were densely covered in forests on both sides of the river, civilian workers were injured from time to time, and all his disciples were afraid of wild boars, so he was named a violent man.

For thousands of years, this river has been lost and it is difficult to find. Today's Tuhai River is not a river in Yu Shu, but a flood control and drainage channel dug in the Jin and Yuan Dynasties, named "Tu Hai".

Tu Hai originates in Wawutou Town, qingfeng county, Puyang, and flows northeast through Shenxian, Yanggu, Dongchangfu District, chiping, Gaotang, Yucheng, Qihe, Linyi, Jiyang, Shanghe, Huimin, Bincheng, Zhanhua, Wudi 14 counties, with a total length of 436.35km and a total length of 747km. The total basin area is 13902 square kilometers, including Shandong province 13296 square kilometers, Henan province 602 square kilometers and Hebei province 4 square kilometers.

In Qihe County, the upstream enters Erlang Temple in Dahuang Township through Yucheng County, and flows into Jiyang County east of Zhangxiao Village in Xuanzhangtun Township.
