Xiang Xue is fundamentally idealistic. However, for thousands of years, physiognomy and physiognomy have been passed down from generation to generation, and on the basis of the original theory of Yijing, they have integrated the thoughts of heavenly stems, earthly branches, yin and yang, five elements, gossip, Taoist geomantic omen and Buddhism, and gradually formed a relatively systematic knowledge system. Most of this knowledge is based on a certain social life, which was summarized from long-term practice by people engaged in physiognomy in past dynasties. Some aspects of it are related to ancient Chinese medicine theory and have certain rationality and practicality. It should be said that fortune telling, as an ancient cultural phenomenon, has both essence and dross. We study it today, that is, we should adopt a sublation attitude, criticize its dross, draw useful things from it, make the past serve the present, and enrich our life wisdom and cultural life.
