Introduction to Yunyang Mountain Scenic Area in Zhuzhou Yunyang Mountain is known as "Little Nanyue Mountain" and "Duck Hengshan Mountain". It is located 2.5 kilometers west of Chaling County, which is the highest peak and the main attraction of Chaling County. Here, with profound cultural heritage and beautiful scenery, it is a rare tourist attraction, integrating human landscape and natural landscape.
Yunyang Mountain is undulating and consists of seven peaks, namely Yunyang Mountain, Paradise Mountain, Yangliushan Mountain and Rock Eagle Mouth. The vegetation is complete, and there are caves with wonderful scenery and various temples. The cliff is like a screen, waterfalls and springs overlap, and there are many peaks and caves, which are beautiful, quiet, dangerous and strange.
Yunyangxian, formerly known as Yunyangshan Temple, was founded in Kaiyuan in Tang Dynasty and renamed Yunyangxian in Qing Dynasty. This is a Taoist temple, dedicated to the holy emperor of Nanyue. This ancient temple is a Buddhist temple, Taoist temple and academy, but neither Buddhism, Taoism nor Confucianism dare to occupy the territory of the holy emperor of Nanyue, so they must worship it. Because the air in Yunyang Mountain is fresh and the summer is cool, this refuge palace was built, so that the holy emperor of South Vietnam can come here every June and July in the lunar calendar, and gradually form the folk custom of "Yunyang in June and July, Hengshan in August". In this way, Buddhism and Taoism also took a fancy to this "geomantic treasure land". Zhengyi Taoism and Nanchan Qingyuan School entered Hunan and arrived at Yunyang Mountain. More than 10 temples and temples have been built successively, such as Yunyang Mountain Temple, Hongsong Temple and Baiyun Fairy Lohan Temple. Yunyang Mountain has become an important place for religious activities in southeastern Hunan. Yunyang is surrounded by bamboos, with caves and rocks as neighbors, and the spring water is gurgling, quiet and elegant. After staying here all night, Huang Tingjian lamented that "a Taoist should be a deer first" and yearned for seclusion.
Guanyinyan Yunyang County has a steep and deep cave called Guanyinyan, and a statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva is molded on the cave wall, which is dignified and kind, and the bottle is half-tilted. Legend has it that Guanyin took a nap here when he chose Nanyue as the address. So it's called Guanyin rock.
Wulichi is adjacent to a clear spring under Guanyin Rock. It's not strange to see it, but it's amazing to hear the sound of running water in the rock with your ears pressed against the rock wall. Legend has it that once red pine nuts ordered Qinglong to make rain to solve the drought. Qinglong slept late in the rain and didn't get the rain back in time, causing a flood. Red pine nut angrily applied the five thunder array, imprisoned the lazy dragon in a crack in the rock and ordered him to spit dragon saliva to irrigate the farmland below the mountain.
The sound of "knocking" is the sound of a lazy dragon spitting. It is said that the water in Wulichi can improve eyesight, clear the heart and strengthen the body, so tourists always take a few bottles home.
There is a huge stone behind Wulichi, Jianshiyan, Sean, with a straight crack in the middle, which divides the huge stone into two halves. According to legend, Zhang Liang of the Han Dynasty came here with red pine nuts to make an alchemy and cast swords. Later, Liu Bang went to the mountain to ask Sean to help him down the mountain. Sean has made a sword. To test whether the sword was sharp, he split the rock, split the rock. This is "Sean Sword Rock".
