Why can't ten thousand people dig the tomb of Wu Zetian?
Ganling, known as the "Three Gorges Project" in archaeology, is buried with 1300 years ago Tang Gaozong Li Zhi Wu Zetian, son of Li Shimin of Emperor Taizong, and as many as 500 tons of treasures. 1000 years, many people have tried it, but it can't be shaken because of the solid stone tomb. Its temptation is so great: Ganling covers an area of about 200,000 mu, located at the foot of the main peak of Liangshan, 85 kilometers northwest of Xi. The emperors of the Tang Dynasty were buried together in one room, with a large scale and rich collections. "It has never been stolen." Ms. Di from the Promotion Department of Shaanxi Ganling Museum is very sure. "Because Ganling is a tomb built on a mountain, it was dug in the middle of Liangshan at an altitude of 1000 meters. The mountains are all hard bluestones. It is very difficult to rob this stone tomb. Even according to the present grave robbing technology, it will take at least 1~2 months to open the grave. For the tomb thief, the time is too long, and he was arrested before opening the stolen hole. " However, 1200 years ago, the figure of grave robbers who coveted it has never been cut off. There are as many thieves with surnames as 17 in history, but they all failed for various reasons. At the end of the Tang Dynasty, Huang Chao used 400,000 troops to dig a ditch more than 40 meters deep, but he didn't find the tomb door, so he had to withdraw bitterly. During the Five Dynasties, Wen Tao, our emissary from Yaozhou, stole most of the tombs of Tang emperors, including Li Shimin. After stealing a lot of money, he ordered tens of thousands of people to dig Ganling in broad daylight. "But when it was dug up, it was a storm and Wen Tao was frightened. This gave up the idea of digging Ganling, and Ganling survived. " Ms. Di said: "In the 1960s, experts explored Ganling and found that the tombs were complete, but it was very difficult to abandon the tombs and drill holes into the underground palace on the bluestone. So far, no stolen hole has been found. Now our museum is guarded by people all day and night, which is very well protected. According to the existing literature and archaeological data, Ganling may be the only tomb of the Tang emperor that has not been excavated. " According to the investigation, from the tomb door to the tomb door, the length is 63 1 m, the width is 3.9 m, and the * * 39 floors are all filled with stone strips. Each floor of stone strips is fixed with iron bolt plates and poured with iron juice. These conditions are consistent with those contained in the literature, so it is absolutely certain that this tomb is really difficult to dig. It is precisely because it has been dusty for thousands of years that this "best preserved" ancient tomb is even more desirable. There may be "Wu Zetian's 100-volume hanging arch set and 10-volume golden wheel set", and there may be "the portrait of Wuhou, the handwriting of Shangguan Waner and others", which Guo Moruo called a "rock-breaking" treasure; There may also be Preface to Lanting, which is said to have been put under Li Shimin's head after his death. Because it is not on the list of treasures written by Wen Tao after stealing Li Shimin's tomb, there has always been a saying in the Ganling Museum that it may be buried with Wu Zetian. What is certain at present is that the known hidden treasures have made people stunned. It is said that both emperors were in the heyday of the Tang Dynasty, and the funerary objects in the tombs were naturally valuable. There must be a lot of gold, silver, jade, tri-colored vessels of the Tang Dynasty, and maybe silk, classics, calligraphy and painting. Because there were a lot of calligraphy and painting when Taizong Zhaoling was stolen, and Gaozong also loved calligraphy and painting, it is said that his last words were to bury his favorite calligraphy and painting in the tomb. Ganling is the only undiscovered mausoleum of the Tang Dynasty emperors in China, and is known as the "crown of the Tang tombs". Ganling was built in 684 AD and basically completed in 23 years. In 705 AD, Wu Zetian died of illness in Luoyang Shangyang Palace. His last wish went to the emperor's honorific title, "Leave the temple as the mausoleum". However, there has been controversy about her being buried in Ganling with Emperor Li Zhi. Finally, since Wu Zetian was Tang Zhongzong's mother after all, Zhongzong reopened Ganling Road in 706 on the grounds of "quasi-posthumous burial", and buried Wu Zetian and Gaozong together in Ganling. Ganling is located in Liangshan, 6 kilometers north of Ganxian County. This is the tomb of Tang Gaozong Li Zhi and Wu Zetian. The mausoleum is magnificent because of the mountains. There are three peaks in Liangshan, with the northern peak being the highest, with an altitude of 1047.9 meters. The tombs of Emperor Gaozong and Wu Zetian are on this mountain. The two peaks in the south are low-lying, east-west, with Sima Dao in the middle, so they are named "Feng Ru". Stepping on the stone steps from the gate of Ganlingtou, there are 537 steps, and the height difference of the steps is 81.68m.. Walking through the steps is a flat and wide road until you reach the Tang Gaozong Mausoleum Monument, which is called Sima Dao. Huabiao 1 pair, Pegasus-ostrich 1 pair, Shima-5 pair, Weng Zhong 10 pair, and 2 stone tablets on both sides. There is no word tablet in the east, and there is a sacred tablet in the west. There are 6 statues of Wang Bin 1 statue, 6 lions1pair and 7 tombs1pair around.
