Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, abbreviated as Ning, is a provincial administrative region of People's Republic of China (PRC). Yinchuan, the capital of the autonomous region, is located in the northwest inland area of China. Ningxia is bounded by 3514'-3914' north latitude and 0/0417'-109 39' east longitude, bordering Shaanxi in the east and Inner Mongolia in the west and north.

Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region was established in 1958, covering an area of 66,400 square kilometers.
