Yue Zhongqi is from Chengdu, Sichuan. Why do people in Gansu regard him as a fellow villager?

It is more than 0/00 kilometers away from the northwest of Lanzhou/Kloc-,and it is a vast wasteland, with blue gravel, yellow soil, red fine sand and black stones all over the sight of tourists. An ancient city stands quietly on this Gobi desert.

This ancient city has a long history. Built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, it has a history of more than 400 years. The ancient city is oval, open to the south, with an urn and a horse face protruding from both sides. From the air, it looks like a turtle lying on the ground, so it is called turtle city. In the 1930s, the Ming government mobilized tens of thousands of troops to defeat the nomadic people entrenched in Songshan, and suddenly discovered the remains of the Great Wall of Han Dynasty along the line from Jingtai Suoqiao to Gulangtumen. Building the Great Wall along the former site of the Han Great Wall is nearly a thousand miles less than that around Wushaoling Ming Great Wall, which is easy to defend. Therefore, the Ming government mobilized manpower and material resources to build the Great Wall for the "New Frontier of Gansu". There are five heavily guarded castles along the new border of Gansu. Guicheng is one of them. It was named yongtai city, and a large number of soldiers were stationed here.

Unexpectedly, in this wasteland castle, a generation of famous Yue Zhongqi was born. Yue Zhongqi (1686- 1754), whose real name is Dong Mei and whose real name is Rong Zhai, was praised by Yong Zhengdi as the "No.1 in the Dynasty" and by Emperor Qianlong as the "Heroes of the Three Dynasties". Regarding Yue Zhongqi's native place, many places say that he is from Chengdu. In fact, he is from Gansu. In the fifty-second year of Kangxi, he settled in Chengdu with his grandmother and was a Sichuanese. What the hell is going on here?

Yue Zhongqi is a well-deserved legend. Whether in folk or in temples, he has a strong legendary color. He joined the army from an ordinary military family and rose all the way to become a generation of famous soldiers. People say that he is the best in the nine paragraphs and successfully completed the counterattack.

In fact, from the ancestral home, Yue Zhongqi is not from Gansu, let alone from Chengdu. Yue Zhongqi's ancestor is Yue Fei, so he is the twenty-first generation grandson of Yue Fei. Where is Yue Fei from? Tangyin people in Xiangzhou. This place is in Tangyin City, Henan Province. Yue Fei was a big star in the Song Dynasty. After the Jin people invaded, most of the Yue family moved to Jiangnan and then settled in Changzhou, Jiangsu. From this point of view, he is also from Jiangnan. So, how did Yue Zhongqi's ancestors get to Gansu?

This is a confusing past. In the early Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, a man from the south of the Yangtze River moved to Gansu. This man's name is Yue Dazhou. He is the ancestor of Yue Zhongqi. Yue Dazhou lived in Lintao area of Shaanxi Province and worked as a farmer. He lived in Lintao after his death. At that time, Gansu was under the jurisdiction of Shaanxi, and Lanzhou was not called Lanzhou at that time, but called Lan County, which was a county belonging to Lintao Prefecture. Yue Dazhou's son is called Yue Zhongwu. Some people say that Yue Zhongwu came to yongtai city in the 20th year of Wanli. Actually, this is a misunderstanding. Yongtai city was built in thirty-six years of Wanli, and Yue Zhongwu could not have settled here. It is also recorded that Yue Zhongwu was once named "Doctor Rong Lu". During the Wanli period of Ming Shenzong, he traveled to Gansu and moved his family to Lanzhou, where his descendants lived all the time. Anyway, there is no doubt that Yue Zhongwu and his family have lived in Lanzhou for quite a long time.

There is also a saying that after Yue Zhongwu settled in yongtai city, he married the daughter of a large local family Zhao and gave birth to Yue Wenda, Yue and Yue. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, Yue was awarded a third-class merit, and he also settled in Lanzhou for a period of time because he was an official. He has four sons, the eldest of whom is Yue Zhenbang. Yue Zhenbang is skilled in martial arts and the art of war. He led 500 people, defeated the nomadic tribes that invaded yongtai city and captured their leader. Yue Zhenbang has three sons: Yue Xiaolong, Yue Shenglong and Yue Longchao.

After the death of the Ming Dynasty, descendants of the Yue family still settled in yongtai city. They practice martial arts in their spare time and farm when they are busy. However, in the early Qing Dynasty, Gansu border guards gradually rose, and while stepping out of a number of famous soldiers, they also experienced the test of life and death. On the other hand, it also provides them with a stage.

Yue Zhenbang and Yue Shenglong experienced the test of life and death, which was related to Wu Sangui. In the 12th year of Kangxi, Wu Sangui rebelled. At that time, the general Wang of the Qing army stationed in Pingliang was Wu Sangui's adopted son, and he also responded. As a result, many troops stationed in Longdong joined the rebels, and Lanzhou City was also occupied by the rebels. There is a fragment in the novel Emperor Qianlong of February River, in which Yue Zhongqi's mother once recalled that Yue Shenglong took people out of the rebel camp when Wu Sangui rebelled.

The real record is that when Wang responded to the rebellion in Wu Sangui, Yue Zhenbang had only 500 grain guards, but he kept up a crisis, killed more than a thousand rebels, defeated the rebel general Li Huya, and then won the battle. Yue Shenglong followed Wang Jin, commander of Xining Military Region, into Baukeland. He took the lead in climbing the city head of Lanzhou and was injured as a result. Be promoted to Zhuanglangwei garrison. In the counter-insurgency, he followed the main forces of the Qing army, such as Colin Tao, Ping Guan Long and Du Jia, as well as the General Staff of Tianjin.

Yue Zhongwu's six generations of Yue people were buried near yongtai city after their death. According to local legend, Yue Zhongqi returned to his hometown in the second year of Yongzheng to worship, repair and erect a monument. The inscription reads, "Honor great-grandchildren Chilong, Shenglong and Long Chao led Sun Yuan Zhongrui, Zhong You, Zhong You and six generations of Sun Xianglin to stand tall".
