Where is the Laopingshi section of Le Yi Ancient Road?

Laopingshi section of Le Yi Ancient Road is a cultural relic protection unit in Guangdong Province.

In Qingyun Town, more than 60 kilometers northwest of Lechang City, a mountainous area in northern Guangdong, there is a well-preserved ancient road-Le Yi Ancient Road. Next to this ancient road, there is a well-preserved ancient village-Hu Changshan Village. The village has a long history, many cultural relics, exquisite architecture, sculpture, calligraphy and painting, and is a treasure of Lingnan culture and art. ..

People living in ancient villages are Li residents. According to Hu Changshan Li Family Tree, his ancestor was in the late Song Dynasty, and he was a minister of Dali Temple (equivalent to the present-). He and his father Jin Jinshi Li Dawan lived in seclusion here for 800 years. In rural areas of Lingnan, such ancient villages with a long history are rare.

There are many historical relics in this ancient village, such as: four academies, private schools, bookstores, Lee's Ancestral Hall, Yuzhi Tower, Dragon and Phoenix carved altar big bed, filial piety square, fame stone, ancient road, majestic and tidy, etc.

Because Kaiji's father and son settled here were Jinshi and Bo at the end of the Song Dynasty, they were both ancient bureaucratic literati, so their descendants had a wide influence. In addition, the environment here is beautiful and it is also a "land of feng shui", so there are many talents who have achieved fame. Among them, there are senior Jinshi, old tribute and tribute, as well as officials to county orders and military achievements to six grades. Dozens of pairs of surrounding public stones in front of the village (in ancient times, people who achieved fame or above could set up public stones) are witnesses. With talents, the culture that attaches importance to teaching and learning literature in the village has been mobilized. It is also a miracle that two academies, a private school and a bookstore were built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and four schools were opened in villages with less than 100 households. These four schools are Guanyin Pavilion Academy, Congyun Academy, Longmendi Private School and Huafeng Library. Therefore, since ancient times, it has been called Lechang's hometown of books.

Le Yi Ancient Road passes in front of Huchang Village. According to Lechang cultural relics, the ancient road of Le Yi was opened in Qin and Han Dynasties, with a history of 1300 years.

Most of Hu Changshan Village still retains the buildings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. These buildings, whether schools, ancestral halls or residential buildings, are beautifully built. Houses are all blue bricks, red tiles or gray tiles, which have not been deformed for hundreds of years. Most houses are carved with beams and painted buildings, and the beams on each gate are carved with dragons and phoenixes, or with civilian military commanders, or with birds and animals. Although they have experienced hundreds of years of wind and rain erosion, the patterns are still very clear. There are ancient paintings and poems under the eaves and windows of school ancestral halls and some houses. These exquisite arts of architecture, sculpture, calligraphy and painting are of great reference value to the study of Lingnan culture and art.

Huchang Mountain has beautiful scenery and a very beautiful natural landscape. There are eight most famous scenic spots: the lion watching the moon, Tan Song Bathing Day, Meixi firewood singing, Jiangshan Range Rover, South China Xiao Zhong, Furnace Peak Haze, Ling Weixue and Longxu Waterfall.
