The addition of antifreeze is standard, and it is not allowed to add too much or too little.
Excessive antifreeze will cause antifreeze to overflow from the auxiliary pot. Because the cooling system of the vehicle is under pressure when working. The lid of the auxiliary kettle can release the pressure in the cooling system. If there is too much antifreeze, antifreeze will overflow from this part. Excessive overflow is caused by lack of antifreeze.
If there is too little antifreeze, the temperature of the engine will continue to rise. Because of the principle of thermal expansion and cold contraction, the internal parts of the engine will expand, resulting in the engine can not be pulled. This is the need of engine overhaul. When the engine is not working and the temperature is too low, antifreeze can prevent freezing, because the liquid will expand when it becomes solid, so it will freeze and crack the engine block. If the engine block is broken, it needs to be replaced. That's why antifreeze is needed instead of water. Because the boiling point and freezing point of antifreeze are higher than water. Therefore, the antifreeze will not evaporate at high temperature and will not freeze at low temperature. Therefore, if the vehicle does not have antifreeze, it will cause engine damage.
