Du was born in 1888, and his ancestral home is Chuansha, Jiangsu (now Pudong New Area, Shanghai). He is an out-and-out poor boy. Du's childhood was very miserable. Before he was four years old, both his parents died of illness, leaving only Xiao Du to live in his uncle's house. Because of the bad living environment, my uncle neglected to discipline Du, so Xiao Du got into the bad habit of gambling. After a gambling failure, Du secretly mortgaged his ancestral home, which caused his family to be completely disappointed with him. Finally, he was sent to Shanghai Shiliupu Fruit Shop as an apprentice, hoping to correct Du's bad habits.
However, Du is not a natural mediocre person. When he was an apprentice in a fruit shop, he made many friends in Shanghai. By a coincidence, Du Jingpeng introduced himself to Shanghai tycoon Huang and became a member of green gang. From then on, he began the "Jianghu Road" of life.
Driven by Huang He's intention, Du quickly became a prominent figure in green gang. He founded Sanxin Company, specializing in selling illegal goods, and quickly accumulated a lot of wealth, and later became a tycoon on an equal footing with Huang Ping. However, compared with the three rich people, such as Huang, Huang and Huang, Du is quite tactful in dealing with people. He is easy to get along with, without the bullying of rogue tycoons, but he looks like a refined scholar. In terms of national justice, he devoted all his financial and human resources and made contributions to War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
1949, with the return of Shanghai to the people, Du also knew that this place should not stay long, so he quickly sold his property and organized a family to flee to Hong Kong by boat, and never returned to his hometown. Unfortunately, at this time, Du's body was already in a serious health crisis, and his asthma attack was getting worse and worse. In the depression and depression all day, he can only rely on oxygen to maintain vital signs, and he has become a dying man.
Du's life in Hong Kong is very different from the past. Du family, dozens of people, can only be squeezed into a small building. Their industries are all in Shanghai, and their economic resources have been cut off because of the relocation of their families. In order to improve the situation of living in the open space, Du once made a big business partnership with a friend in Sichuan, but because of the current situation, he lost his capital and added a big trouble to him.
195 16 August 16, Du unwillingly closed his eyes at the age of 63. Local celebrities and politicians were surprised by Du's death. They came to pay their respects to Du and wrote elegiac couplets in memory of his old friend. Although Du died in Hongkong, his last wish was expressed in his last words, that is, to be buried back in Gao Qiao Town. However, due to the serious situation, Du's coffin could not be sent back to Shanghai, so he had to stay in hong kong funeral home for the time being.
Du's coffin was buried for more than a year because his family planned to bury it back to their hometown. However, with the passage of time, the Du family felt hopeless, so at the decision of his wife, Du's coffin was moved to Taipei. 1On October 25th, Du's coffin left Hong Kong in Shengjing for Taipei and was greeted by many old friends.
Mrs. Du specially invited a feng shui master to help her explore feng shui, and finally decided to locate the mausoleum near the hillside of Xizhi Town, Taipei County. It is not only close to the mountains and rivers, but also close to a primary school. It is a good place. At the same time, in order to return to his hometown one day, Du's coffin was buried in a special floating way, that is, two benches were placed under the coffin, which meant that he didn't touch the land of another country, but just lived here. In addition, on the tombstone of Du Ling, there is an inscription by Zhang Qun, a famous calligrapher at that time. What is even more striking is that there are four big characters inscribed in Du Cemetery.
I have to say that Du was brilliant before his death, and his scenery was infinite after his death. The details of his burial were also written by various media in Taipei at that time, which attracted wide attention from all walks of life. However, after several decades, Du's scenery was quickly swept away, because the "Yi Jie archway" in his cemetery was quickly demolished by the local government in the name of requisitioning land to build roads, leaving only a pile of rubble, which seemed to be trying to interpret the inherent scenery that belonged to the tycoon. It must be said that the bleak scene of Du Lingyuan is in sharp contrast with its glory before its death, and it has also become a naked irony.
"In life, everything is autumn." Du Fu's experience before and after his death reminds us all the time that we must take the right path and do our best, just as a song says: Only by being responsible for what happened before, can we leave a beautiful comment behind us!
