Birds of paradise are not standard indoor green plants. It can grow well and bloom normally in an outdoor ventilated and light-transmitting environment (even in full sunshine).
There are generally two kinds of birds of paradise that we can buy in the market. One is the crane orchid, which can bloom yellow flowers. The plants are short, and the leaves are covered with a gray protective layer.
The other is Nicolae streptavida, which has black and white flowers. It needs plenty of sunshine to blossom easily, and it also needs a warm environment all year round. It needs more fertilization and water to breed flowers normally.

Lucky birds like warm and humid climate and are afraid of frost and snow. The south can be cultivated in the open field, and the Yangtze River basin can be cultivated in greenhouse or sunlight greenhouse. The optimum temperature for growth is 18 ~ 24℃ from March to 10, and 13 ~ 18℃ from June to March of the following year. 20 ~ 22℃ during the day and 10 ~ 13℃ at night are more favorable for growth. The temperature in winter is not lower than 5℃.
Lucky bird is a plant that likes light. In summer, strong light should be shaded or grown under a shade shed. Adequate sunshine is needed in winter, such as excessive growth or insufficient sunshine, which directly affects the growth of leaves and the color of flowers. It takes 40 ~ 45 days for each single leaf to germinate and mature. It takes 30 ~ 35 days from flower bud appearance to flower bud formation. A single flower blooms 13 ~ 15 days, and the whole inflorescence can be watched continuously for 2 1 ~ 25 days.
