Zaoqiang County is located in the southeast of Hebei Province, at the southern end of Hengshui City, between east longitude115 35' and north latitude115 58'. It faces Jingxian County and Gucheng County across the Qingliang River in the east, Jizhou District in the west, Nangong City in Xingtai City in the south, Taocheng District and Wuyi County in the north. It is 28 kilometers wide from east to west and 45 kilometers long from north to south, with a total area of 905 square kilometers.
