Therefore, he has to be dragged by karma from life to life and survive in the good or bad environment of the six realms. However, among the six realms there is less happiness and more suffering, and reaching the good realm is like a person who has been falling into the sea for a long time and just comes out to take a breath and then falls down again. Very bitter. And the sentient beings in the Four Holy Dharma Realms are saints who have escaped from the sea of ??suffering of life and death and will no longer fall. Guanyin Bodhisattva is of course a saint who has escaped from the suffering of life and death and achieved happiness. The Jade Emperor has suffered all his blessings in this life. If he had bad karma in the past, he would have to go to the three evil realms to be reborn as an animal, a hungry ghost, and go to hell. This goes on and on endlessly. Because if you work without awareness, you will receive good and evil retribution if you create karma. The Buddha descended to teach all sentient beings how to break away from confusion and enlightenment, and how to escape from life and death. So that all sentient beings can break through confusion and enlightenment according to the method he taught, escape from suffering and gain happiness, and eventually become Buddhas. In Buddhism, which one is higher between Guanshiyin Bodhisattva and the Jade Emperor?

Down in order:

Buddha - Bodhisattva (Mahayana) - Pratyekabuddha (Pratyekabuddha) - Arhat (Sravakayana). After that, there are three levels of sound-hearing: Anagami (the third fruit), Situagami (the second fruit), and Sotapanna (the first fruit).

The first four types above are saints, who have been liberated from life and death. Although the latter three types are not free from life and death for the time being, even those who are in the first stage of enlightenment can be liberated by traveling back and forth between human and heaven at most seven times. Therefore, these beings. They are no longer ordinary people.

Then again:

Devas (including the Jade Emperor)--Asura--Human--Animal--Hungry Ghost--Hell.

Although these six kinds of sentient beings (beings in the six realms) have different levels of good and evil retributions. The first three are called the "Three Good Paths" and the last three are called the "Three Evil Paths". However, there is no essential difference: they are all ordinary people, and neither can escape from life and death. It is entirely possible to fall into hell and rise and fall in the six realms. As the "Upasaka Precepts Sutra" says:

"For those outsiders who have achieved the concentration of neither perception nor non-perception, their lifespan will be immeasurable kalpas. If they have not obtained the method of liberation, they should consider themselves to be people in hell." (Not Perception is not non-contemplation, which is the highest level of heaven; the method of liberation is a partial method of liberation; at least it is the first fruit of sound-hearing: Sotapanna)

As above, the "Six Mortals and Four Saints" are combined into "Ten There is love in the Dharma Realm.” Covers all sentient beings. What needs to be noted is that the sentient beings in the ten dharma realms each have "Buddha nature" and all have the possibility of becoming a Buddha. Therefore, there are all kinds of Buddhism that can transform sentient beings, free them from life and death, and ultimately achieve Buddhahood.

After establishing the above knowledge, the poster can understand: The Jade Emperor and Guanyin Bodhisattva, one is an ordinary person, and the other is a sage. They are as different as the heavens and the abyss, they cannot be the same.

All sentient beings will eventually become Buddhas!
