The landform of this county belongs to a part of hilly areas in South China in terms of national landform types, and to hilly areas in Southeast Guangxi in terms of Guangxi landform types. The highest elevation in the territory is 792m (Xie Xianyu) and the lowest elevation is 30m (Panlong Bian Wei), with a relative elevation difference of 762m. Yunkai Mountain is divided into two lines, east and west, which extend southward, forming a canyon corridor with high east and west sides. Xie Xianyu, the main peak of the East Mountain Range, and Zhang Lie, the main peak of the West Mountain Range, are both located in the middle of the county, showing an arch back shape with high middle and low north and south. Tangcun divides water as the boundary, with south water flowing south and north water flowing north. Both the east and west mountains in the county belong to low hills with structural erosion. Between the east and west mountains, Mima River flows into Nanliu River to the north and Jiuzhou River flows into Beibu Gulf to the south, forming a long and narrow valley with alluvial terraces and small plains on both sides. The county is located in the low latitude, south of the Tropic of Cancer, and adjacent to the tropical ocean in the south, with a subtropical monsoon climate. In the summer half year (April to September), due to the influence of hot and humid summer monsoon, southerly winds prevail; The winter half year (10 ~ March of the following year) is affected by the dry and cold winter wind, with more northerly winds. The general climate is characterized by high temperature, abundant sunshine, abundant heat and rainfall, but uneven distribution, heavy rain in summer, easy waterlogging, drought in spring and autumn and frost in winter.
