At the end of the movie, Uncle Jiu wiped out the zombies and had a happy ending. But in the end, the novel still left a suspense. It turned out that Jiu Shu was injured in a fight with zombies and was poisoned by ptomaine. Although Jiu Shu treated himself by healing his literary talent, he was still sweating when he heard Wen Cai and Huang Qiusheng joke that he might become a zombie, which means Jiu Shu is not sure that he can cure himself.
Cai Wen, Anthony wong and Uncle Jiu have taken care of Yizhuang for many years. Finally, the master was poisoned by ptomaine, and they joked about it, which really seemed a bit bleak.
However, if you think about it carefully, you don't have to criticize too much. Maybe they are also careless speakers. After all, before Uncle Jiu cured his literary talent, they didn't care, but made fun of it, because they believed that the master could cure themselves.
At the end of the novel, there is suspense. Uncle Jiu's ending is unknown, but I believe everyone's heart has given him his own ending!
