Sheyang is my hometown, and I love her deeply. I love her charming scenery, her rich specialties, the rapid development of her new era, and the simple people living here. It can be said that Sheyang is definitely a "land of feng shui".
Sheyang's name has a source. According to legend, there were ten suns in the sky in ancient times. They baked the earth too hot for ordinary people to survive. Hou Yi shot down nine suns with a bow and arrow to benefit the people. This is the story of "Houyi shooting at the sun", from which the name of Sheyang comes.
In order to commemorate Houyi, Sheyang people specially built a park named Houyi Park. Every weekend, many people go to play. The scenery in Houyi Park is really beautiful. Just entering the gate is a small pond. There are many goldfish in the small pond. They gathered here and there as if discussing something important. The pond is full of flowers. In autumn, petals fall, colorful petals float on the water, and small fish hide and seek under the petals, so there are many people around the pond at this time. There is a big lake behind the pond, and there is my favorite island-Love Island. The island is covered with lush forests and grasslands all year round. There are also many wooden fishing docks on the island. Sitting on the dock, facing the lake, fishing, listening to songs and staring blankly are all very comfortable enjoyment.
Sheyang has always been called the land of plenty. Sheyang is close to the Yellow Sea and produces a variety of fish and shrimp, which is cheap and good. Sheyang's rice is famous all over the country and deserves our pride!
Sheyang is rich in real estate and the people are hardworking. I hope my hometown will be better tomorrow!
