How is the compass oriented?
The basic way to determine the direction is to aim the red line in the center of the compass (with a cross red line on the tray) at an assumed direction, then turn the compass so that the magnetic needle is parallel to the Tianchi submarine line (the north and south magnetic meridian on the compass), and then look at what the red line on the disk refers to, and finally infer the position according to a series of principles of the compass. If it is fierce, you should continue to adjust the direction pointed by the red line of the compass until you find the auspicious place.
