Water tank plays an important role in the cooling and heat dissipation of automobile. In the summer when the temperature continues to be high, the automobile water tank is particularly prone to some minor faults, such as insufficient water level, corrosion and water leakage of the water tank, which will directly lead to boiling, that is, the temperature of the water tank reaches the boiling point.
At this time, the engine has poor heat dissipation and high temperature, and the expansion of parts will reduce the fit clearance of all parts. On the other hand, when the temperature is too high, the viscosity of oil will decrease. In this case, the wear of all parts will increase. If proper treatment is not carried out immediately, the engine is likely to burn out and lead to serious engine damage accidents.
Care should be taken to prevent the small water tank from rusting. The water tank is made of aluminum, the pump wheel is made of iron and the waterway is made of cast iron. If factory antifreeze cannot be used, water tanks, pumps and waterways will be corroded. Once the metal is corroded, it may break from the corrosion place, and the corrosion will block the waterway, resulting in high working temperature and poor operation of the engine. Regular cleaning, due to the long-term use of the vehicle, the radiator of the water tank will enter sand, cordyceps and other sundries, resulting in poor heat dissipation of the water tank, poor work due to high engine temperature and poor fuel economy. It is recommended to clean the sundries on the surface of the heat sink regularly. Replace antifreeze in time. Replace antifreeze once a year. When it expires or the coolant becomes dirty, it needs to be replaced. When replacing, all the old antifreeze must be put away, and the water tank and cooling system must be cleaned.
