Historical legends of Longmen scenic spot in Danhe River

Legend of Longmen in Danhe River: Shuidong Village, formerly known as Sujiazhuang, is a treasure trove of geomantic omen, and it is said that the only thrill will be born. The Jade Emperor sent Guan Gong to guard here, to protect the geomantic omen from being destroyed, and to protect the only thrill from being born safely. So he came to Sujiazhuang with his heavenly generals and his wife, Grandma Guan. He camped on the nearby Yunlong Mountain, set up a handsome house and sat by himself. Therefore, there is a place called Zuo on Yunlong Mountain. The flat land on the east side of Guan Gong's city is called Tianjietai, which is said to be the place where Guan Gong descended to heaven.

After Guan Yu came to power, in order to ensure public order, he arrested all the local mountain monsters and locked the town under Guan Yu's rule. Legend has it that there is a tiger, two dragons and two small snakes in this town.

When Guan Gong came down to earth, the Jade Emperor made him stay in Sujiazhuang for seven days. Seven days later, the only thrill was born safely, and Guan Gong completed his mission.

One day in the sky, one year on earth. Guan Gong is loyal to his duties, practicing hard here every day and personally inspecting. Six days (that is, six years on earth) passed safely. On the seventh day, the Jade Emperor informed Guan Gong to go to heaven to discuss this matter. Before leaving, I entrusted Grandma Guan to defend me.

This year, it happened that Sujiazhuang suffered a once-in-a-lifetime drought. Five dragons control water, and the dragons are in a mess, which leads to flooding in Sujiazhuang. Wulong couldn't rain, so he came to grandma Guan to help save the suffering creatures. Grandma Guan is virtuous and loving, and she is also concerned about the suffering of creatures. Hearing Wulong's request, she did not hesitate to remove the golden hairpin from her head and stab it at Nanling ridge. Suddenly, the mountain beam was scratched by lightning and thunder, and the lake came out of the mountain. The water was rushing and rushing deeper and deeper, forming a magnificent landscape of the Longmen of Danhe River.

Wulonggong Temple: The original temple was built in 1993, which is one of the main cultural attractions in Longmen Tourist Area.

This temple was originally built to commemorate the legendary achievements of Wulong in water control. During the drought, dozens of villages in Fiona Fang beat gongs and drums, provided pigs and sheep to the police and begged the Dragon King for rain. Every year on the sixth day of the sixth lunar month, good men believe in women, ask God for medicine, burn incense and sing operas. Strangely, the temple fair rains every year. It is said that this is the reason why the Dragon King came here to see the play.
