Because it is close to the Qujiang River and has the advantage of boating, Bedtan is also a famous water pier. If there is water, it can attract merchants. 3. Longtan Ancient Town
Longtan Town is located in the southeast of Youyang County, Chongqing City, 30 kilometers away from the county seat. Because the two water pools in the town look like "dragon eyes" and often accumulate water to form a pool, they are named "Longtan". Covering an area of ??7.2 square kilometers, it is home to 35,000 Tujia, Miao, Han and other ethnic groups. In the 13th year of the reign of Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty (1735), it was destroyed by a fire and was moved to the Longtan River (called Meishu River in ancient times) to be rebuilt. Relying on the convenience of Longtan River and Youshui River, it gradually developed into an important commercial market town, and its ancient names were: Longtan Huo and Gongtan Qian. It was built in the first year of Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1736), and its unique buildings include the old stone streets, courtyards and fire-sealing walls that are more than 200 years old. The walls in the town are made of fire bricks, ranging from more than ten meters to twenty or thirty meters high. Iron or wood are then used to build wedge protection walls about 1 meter high, and houses are built inside. The first floor is called "Yinziwu", and its image is like a square seal, which is a unique fire-sealing barrel.
4. Lukong Ancient Town
Lukong Ancient Town is located in the east of Rongchang County, Chongqing. The town street is 13 kilometers away from the county seat, covering an area of ??24 square kilometers. The name of the ancient town comes from a folk legend. According to legend, a monk named Zeng Ao from the Ming Dynasty traveled here. He saw the pleasant scenery on the other side of the river and was suitable for self-cultivation, so he decided to build a temple here. I found six stone holes on the slope, which seemed to be connected to the river, so I poured chaff into the stone holes and gave it a try. Soon the chaff actually emerged from the river, so I called this place "Liu Kong River". Later, it was It's called "Lukong River". Lukongchang, Lukong Township and Lukong Town also got their names.
5. Shuangjiang Ancient Town
Shuangjiang Ancient Town is located in the northwest of the county, facing the Fujiang River and the canal. It is dotted with courtyards and gardens featuring the Qing Dynasty. The antique Sihe courtyard has many exquisite carvings on the pillars and walls, high cornices at the corners, a deep courtyard, exquisitely designed patio gardens, and luxuriant flowers and trees all year round. It is a typical Bashu ancient town charm. This is the hometown of former national president Yang Shangkun.
Shuangjiang Ancient Town is the hometown of martyr Yang Angong, one of the early founders of the Chinese revolution. Yang Anggong returned from studying in Japan in 1920 and actively carried out Marxist-Leninist propaganda activities in Chongqing. In 1925, he served as Secretary of the Chongqing Prefectural Committee of the Socialist Youth League. In 1926, he served as Secretary of the First Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and led the "Shunhu Uprising".
6. Pianyan Ancient Town
It is located between the two remaining veins in the southwest of Huaying Mountains. It is located in hills, high in the northeast and low in the southwest. The average altitude is 52O meters, with the highest altitude being 942.9 meters. In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Liujia, Lili, Jiangbei Hall. A town was built here in the 9th year of the 24th year of Qianlong's reign. Because there is a rock wall in the north of the town that is steep and sloping, so it is named Pianyan Town.

7. Zhongshan Ancient Town
Zhongshan Ancient Town, commonly known as Sanhechang, also known as Longdongchang, is located in the southern mountainous area of ??Jiangjin City, 125 kilometers away from Chongqing City, about an hour and a half drive, and is connected to the national scenic spot Simian Mountain. The ancient town is backed by mountains and faces water, and the buildings in the town are built near the water. It is connected by three small streets: Longdong, Huangzhongba and Gaoshengqiao.
