Minshan Mountain is a folded mountain range extending from the south of Gansu Province in China to the northwest of Sichuan Province, with a length of about 500 kilometers. Xuebaoding, the main peak, is located in Songpan County, Sichuan Province, with an altitude of 5588 meters. It is the watershed of Minjiang River, Fujiang River, Baishui River and Heishui River in the Yangtze River system. The peaks overlap and the valleys are deep. There are spruce in western Sichuan, fir in Minjiang River, Chinese pine and oak in the mountains. Above 3800 meters is alpine shrub meadow.
The north of the mountain is northwest and the south is northeast. This ridge is 4000 to 4500 meters above sea level. There are many Haizi in Minshan Mountain, the biggest ones are Huahaizi, Hongxing Haizi, Ganhaizi and Changhaizi, and the most of them are concentrated in Jiuzhaigou, Nanping.
