Purple-backed velvet arrowroot (scientific name: Calathea warscewiczii) is an early plant of Apocynaceae. Its plant height is about 1 ~ 1.2m, its stem is purplish brown, its leaves are green, it has stripes and its back is purplish red. The flowers were milky white at first, then gradually turned into ivory yellow and pink when they were dying. These flowers are as beautiful as roses and have medicinal and ornamental value. Like humid and warm climate, suitable for planting in cool and bright places.
