On both sides of this ridge are the White River in the Yellow River system and Mosuo in the upper reaches of the Dadu River in the Yangtze River system. This humble mountain ridge has become the watershed of the famous Yangtze River and Yellow River at home and abroad.
At the junction of Aba County in Qinghai Province and the northwest of jiuzhi county, there is a wide grassland called the watershed. On the flat grassland, the two mother rivers, the Yangtze River and the Yellow River, extend hand in hand to the foot of the sacred Lianbao Yeze Mountain Scenic Area.
Standing on the carefree provincial transit highway, you can see that the Yangtze River and the Yellow River flow hand in hand from the vast grassland at the top of the mountain to the distance. The clear spring with two eyes at the foot of the mountain is the root-seeking tourist scenic spot of the mother river of the Yangtze River and the Yellow River.
The birthplace of the Yangtze River and the Yellow River:
1. The Yellow River originates in Bayan Kara, Qinghai Province and flows through Qinghai, Sichuan, Gansu, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Henan and Shandong provinces. Because the middle section of the river flows through the Loess Plateau in China and carries a lot of sediment, it is also called the river with the largest sediment concentration in the world.
2. The Yangtze River originates from the "roof of the world"-the southwest side of Gladden Peak in Tanggula Mountain of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The main stream flows through Qinghai, Tibet, Sichuan, Yunnan, Chongqing, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhui, Jiangsu, Shanghai 1 1 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, and flows into the East China Sea east of Chongming Island.
It is about 6,300 kilometers long, more than 800 kilometers longer than the Yellow River (5,464 kilometers), ranking third in the world after the Nile River in Africa and the Amazon River in South America.
