Introduction of Fan Qishu

The name of Fan Miaoshu is not Fan Qin's pretensions. Its origin was first found in the Bibliography of Lianshengtang by Qi Cheng, a bibliophile in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province during the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty. "Bibliography" includes twenty fantastic books by Fan. There are 20 kinds of subheadings, but actually there are only 19 kinds, and some subheadings only list 17 kinds. This shows that the description of Lianshengtang Bibliography is incomplete, and later generations have made corrections. For example, the Bibliography of Yiqing Pavilion and Bibliography of Hui Ke revised by Tongchuan Gu in the fourth year of Jiaqing, Qing Dynasty were added to 20 kinds respectively.
