I have long heard an old friend talk about a very interesting cave, saying that he almost fainted from crying when he went there alone. He said that the cave is a real natural maze, which makes people love and fear at the same time.
The cave he was talking about was the Huanren Wangtian Cave in Benxi. His description made me very interested in Wangtian Cave.
Wangtian Cave Scenic Area is located in Huanren County, Benxi City, Liaoning Province, 15 kilometers away from Huanren County, and is located in Wanwanchuan Village, Yahe Township. After an inspection in 2008, Mr. Ford, President of the International Society of Speleology, said: I have never seen a better maze than Wangtian Cave. Wangtian Cave is a beautiful cave at the international level.
In early autumn, I took two female classmates to drive from Shenyang to Wangtian Cave, determined to find out.
Unexpectedly, we almost took over the entire Wangtian Cave Scenic Area that day, which made this cave maze tour a fun adventure.
We crossed a beautiful suspension bridge and then passed through a secluded dense forest. Suddenly a chill hit us, and we arrived at the entrance of Wangtian Cave before we knew it.
Wangtian Cave was formed 1 million years ago. It is divided into three layers: upper, middle and lower. It is a large karst cave. The main cave is 5635 meters long. There are still nearly 4000 meters of underground river tunnels that have not been explored. And development, the entire Wangtian Cave is actually more than 10,000 meters long. Doesn’t a cave of this size sound exciting?
When we stepped into the cave, we immediately felt the majesty and mystery of the cave. Sometimes I would slow down because of shooting, causing me to get separated from two female classmates, although we could hear We heard each other's loud calls. Although we felt close at hand, we could hardly see them when we heard them. It turned out that we were in different caves nearby. Our calls echoed throughout the cave. The tense and exciting atmosphere was always with us. throughout the journey.
The Wangtian Cave tunnel is generally 70 to 100 centimeters wide and 1.6 to 3 meters high. It is divided into three floors, connected to each other as a whole. It can be said that all roads lead to Rome, so there is no need to worry. You will really get lost, because no matter what, you will eventually exit the cave under the guidance of the sign.
In fact, the "dry cave" is not dry. There are many water pools in Wangtian Cave, the deepest one is 7 meters deep. The longest underground river in the cave is 4,000 meters long, winding and never ending. exhausted.
What impressed me the most was the thinnest stalactite in the cave, which is called the "stone flag". It was formed by the sheet water flowing on the top of the cave over thousands of years. The "stone flag" is crystal clear and hangs in the air, just like a flag, showing a posture of fluttering in the wind. This is the first time I have seen it in a cave in China, and I am very surprised.
The "hall of ten thousand people" in the third layer of the cave covers an area of ??7,650 square meters and is called the first cave hall in northern my country. Experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences said that the hall and the upper, middle and lower floors in the cave are The 10,000-meter maze is the largest in the world.
We stood in the hall and saw two holes on the zenith, which is why Wangtian Cave got its name. It is said that Wangtian Cave was discovered precisely because the old man was tending sheep, and the sheep accidentally fell into the cave from the entrance, and Wangtian Cave was discovered.
It is no exaggeration to say that the trip to Wangtian Cave is an extraordinary journey. Even though we have walked out of the cave and stepped on a small bridge, we still cannot get over the tense atmosphere in the cave. As I regained consciousness, the winding maze of caves and stalactites of various shapes flashed in my mind, and my ears echoed with each other's calls and footsteps, just like a dream.
