Where did Fan Zhongyan come from, and where was his grave after his death?

Fan Zhongyan's Tomb is located about half a kilometer north of Xu Ying Village, Pengpo Township, Yichuan County, about 7 kilometers from the county seat/kloc-0 and 25 kilometers from Luoyang, with Wanan Mountain in the north, Quhe River in the south, Jiulong Mountain in the east and Longmen Mountain in the west. More than 520 cypress trees have been planted in the cemetery.

Fan Zhongyan (988- 1052), a Greek, was killed by posthumous title. Wu county (now Suzhou city, Jiangsu province) people. Song Zhenzong Dazhong was a scholar in the eighth year of Xiangfu (10 15). Song Renzong guarded the northwest frontier and contained the invasion of Xixia army; He actively advocated political reform and tried to cheer up. He was a famous politician then. Parliamentary officials, deputy envoys and political affairs. His articles and poems are also famous all over the world, including Fan Wenzheng's public collection.

According to Fan's genealogy, Fan is from Wuxian, Suzhou. Because his mother, Mrs Xie, died, she was buried in Wanan Mountain. The following text is attached to the scholars. "The land is divided into two pieces, with a total area of about 35 mu. There is a red plaque with a blue background hanging in the front hall, which was inscribed by Emperor Guangxu when he returned to Beijing from Xi 'an in 190 1. The thirteenth generation of Sun Fan and his wife look after the cemetery in the ancestral hall. There are several tall stone tablets in front of the ancestral hall, which are protected by blue brick stone tablets. There are male tombstones on both sides, which are 4.17m high and 0. 4m wide, and the inscription is "Ode to the Holy Monument". The inscription was written by Ouyang Xiu, a famous minister and writer in the Song Dynasty. The inscription is official script, written by Fan's friends. Behind the ancestral hall are Fan Zhongyan's tomb, the tomb of Mrs. Guo Qin, Zhong Yan's mother, and the tomb of Zhong Yan's eldest son for a spring outing. In front of the back field is the tomb of Chunren, the second son of Zhongyan, followed by the tombs of Chunli, Chunli, Chunli and Sunzi. More than ten meters ahead, there is also a tomb of Pei Zunqing, a Tang Dynasty minister.

Generally speaking, the order of tombs is mostly father, son, son and grandson. Fan's tomb is the front of Zhongyan's tomb, followed by the eldest son, and the second son and grandchildren are far behind, so it is commonly known as "pulling children to hold grandchildren", which is more distinctive.

Why is Fan Tomb located here? According to legend, this cemetery, with mountains and water at its back, is a treasure trove of geomantic omen. It was originally a royal cemetery chosen by the emperor. One day, the princess who married Fan Zhongyan's fourth son went back to the palace to look for her father, crying and giving advice: "The poor woman you found for me! Not even a ancestral grave. What can I do when this man is old! Cats meow ...! "How clever the emperor is, how could he not know that this is a treasure trove of geomantic omen that his precious daughter has come to beg for? So he smiled and gave the cemetery to the Fan family. My hometown is in Fan Jiacai, Jiangsu Province, and there is a treasure trove of geomantic omen in Yichuan County.
