The Beidi Temple in Mawei Island, which entered the sea safely, enshrines the "water god" Beidi, and fishermen always come here to burn incense and make peace before going out to sea. It is worth mentioning the ponytail sunset, which is the westernmost tip of the island and the best place to watch the sunset. Mawei Island is located at the southwest end of Hailing Island, which is connected with the mountains of zhapo Town. The coastline is winding and surrounded by the sea on three sides. It is actually a peninsula. According to legend, when the Monkey King made a scene in the Heavenly Palace, he dispersed Tianma in a rage and let it indulge freely, fighting for a horse to linger here, and finally turned into a long mountain with a mausoleum. The long ponytail turned into a Mawei Island, and the old people pointed to two islands, the mainland and Zhouzi, which were separated by dozens of meters, and called them "saddles".
