Luanping County, affiliated to Chengde City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of Chengde City and at the intersection of the "Golden Triangle" of the provinces and cities of Beijing, Hebei, and Inner Mongolia. It is known as the North Gate of Beijing and is the transportation hub connecting Beijing, Hebei, and Inner Mongolia.
